We all talked, and then when they left, we packed our stuff. George told me to pack condoms, I simply asked if they were for me and Hazel, or him and Lavinia. He blushed bright red. They left and I smirked at my joke. Hazel laughed. "I think that was the first time I made George flustered." I told her, laughing. "I agree. That was great." Hazel told me. We packed our clothes, and Hazel packed a bunch of books. A bunch of books by Dickens. "I don't know how you can read books that long," I told her. Hazel shrugged. "Somehow I can. You judging?" Hazel said. "No, of course not." I said.
We decided to go for a walk. After the walk, the evening was uneventful.
We went to bed that night, all packed up and stuff. I held Hazel next to me. I woke up to Hazel squeezing me tightly. She was crying in her sleep. "No, the baby can't die, they can't. No! No! No, no, NO!" she said in her sleep. She srung up and was crying. "OK, listen to me, Hazel, dear. The baby won't die, they won't, OK? I know you've been having bad dreams, but those are just dreams, nothing else, nothing more. Now, please just calm down for a second, OK?" I gently pushed her on her back. Hazel was still sobbing. "No, they feel so real! So real! I ahte them!" she told me, trying to sit up. I held her down, stroking her hair soothingly. She tried her best to calm down. "Just chill. I promise nothing will happen, nothing will. We'll go on a trip to India, and the will be fun, won't it?" I said, making her rest in my arms. Hazel nodded, dying her tears. "See? Now, please just calm down, llay down, and I'll be awake if you need me. Remember those nights when we were teenagers? It's just like those, when I would comfort you.
"I'm really trying to comfort you right now, Hazel. Trust me. I won't let anything happen to you or the baby. I shall be the best father I can be. Trust me. Now, just lay down." I told her. Hazel looked up and kissed me on the lips. I kissed her back, making her lay down. I laid down next to her, lettig her rest her head on my chest. She looked up at the ceiling. I put my hand on her belly. Hazel grabbed my finger, and squeezed it. "Another kick?" I asked, chuckling. She nodded. "Well, just think. When the baby is born, we will have a new family member, and a new thing to love. Don't you think? Trust me, this is the best thing to happen to us. Goodnight, honey." I kissed Hazel goodnight, and she fell asleep on my chest. I fell asleep shortly after.
Chapter 10
I woke to the smell of bacon. I walked into the kitchen and saw Hazel cooking. "Hello, Alexander honey." she said, looking behind her shoulder. "Hello, how do you feel?" I asked, kissing her good morning. "I feel like a pregnant lady, does that answer your question?" Hazel sald sassily. I rolled my eyes. "I guess it does. Now, come sit down with me." I told her. She sat next to me, and we ate. I was staring at Hazel. She looked so beautiful even if she's just in her pyajmas, and no makeup on. Her long black hair, button nose, fair skin, round eyes, everything about her was pretty.
Hazel caught me staring. "Oh, stop staring. I don't look that good." she told me, waving a hand in the air. "Of course you do! You look great!" I told her, making hair from her face, and resting my hand on her face. Hazel blushed bright red. I felt my cheeks burn up too. "Oh, Alex. Even when we are married, you still manage to make me blush," she told me. "That's my job, isn't it?" I said. "I guess so." She gently put my hand off her face. I put my hand on her belly, feeling a kick. "OWWW! This damn baby can't stop kicking, huh?" Hazel said, squeezing my hand tightly. I chuckled with Hazel. I stared at her, awestruck. She was very beautiful. I place my hand on her face, looking into her deep eyes. Hazel blushed. I leaned in and met her lips. Hazel held the back of my neck as we kissed. I put my hand on hers, my other hand still on her face.
As I snogged her and I was about to take Hazel in the bedroom to do you know what, but then we heard Daisy knocked on the door. I opened the door. Ruthie was standing there. "Hello, Ruthie," I said, shaking her little hand. "Hello, Alexander. Is Watson here?" Ruthie asked. "You do know her name is Hazel, right?" I asked, picking her up in my arms. "Yes, but Mommy tells me I can call her Watson." Ruthie told me. Daisy and Amina walked in the house. "Hello, Daisy, Amina, and Ruthie." Hazel said. "Watson!" Daisy said, hugging Hazel. "Oh, Watson, how have you been?" Amina asked. "Fine, but pregnant." Hazel told her. I wrapped my arm around her and then kissed her on the cheek. We sat down next to them on the couch. "So, you're coming with us to George and Lavinia?" I asked. They both nodded. "I can't wait for it."
Part two
India
Chapter 1
It was the day of the trip. We all got ready for the trip, and went to the airport. As we drove, Hazel grabbed my hand. "Alex, I'm scared," Hazel told me, looking in my eyes. "Why would you be scared, my sweet thing?" I asked, looking into her eyes. "Because what if something goes wrong?" That suggestipn made my heart hurt. "Go wrong? Whatever do you mean?" I asked, pecking her on the cheek. "Well, what if I have a miscarriage while we're there. I won't know what to call, or what to say." Hazel told me, a tear sliding down her face. "You won't. Trust me. Plus George can speak to them. Trust me. We won't have anything go wrong." I told her, hugging close to my side.
I hate to say it but, I was wrong.
As we boarded the plane, I sat next to Hazel, Daisy sat next to Amina, George sat next to Lavinia, and Ruthie sat next to Jeremy. As we lifted off, Hazel clingled to my arm. I patted her arm and smiled at her. Hazel squeezed my arm tightly. "Don't worry, nothing will go wrong, sweetie." I told her, hugging her. Hazel hugged me tight. We had a little bump. Hazel jumped up at the bump and the side of her head fell in my lap. "Here you go, just sit." I told her, helping her up. George smirked. "Hey, she's my wife. Plus, Lavinia fell in your lap twice if you're having two kids, only thing is, her falling your lap was on purpose." That mind George blush. Lavinia laughed at that. Jeremy and Ruthie didn't understand.
I kissed Hazel on the cheek and she smiled. Many hours later, we landed in India. George was excited to get home. Like how I was when we moved back home to Boston. Hazel held my hand as we landed. I squeezed her hand lovingly. Hazel pecked me on the cheek. As we got off, I saw George's happy face grow bigger. Like the first time he found out he was having a child. He was so happy! Jeremy was there looking in awe. Ruthie was helding Jeremy's hand as they walk. I saw Jeremy blushed at that. I held Hazel's hand. George held Lavinia's hand. George told us we had a hotel we could go to. George called a taxi and we got inside.
"Hello," the taxi driver said in English with a thick accent. "Hello," George said. "Where are you going?" the driver asked. George told him the name of the hotel. He drove us to the hotel and we got out after George paid. George helped Lavinia inside. I held Hazel's hand as we walked in. Ruthie looked around with Jeremy. We saw a big chandelier. "Isn't this place just wonderful, honey?" Hazel said, looking around. "Very much, but I think you're better, to be honest, sweet thing." I told her. Hazel kissed me on the lips for a quick moment. "Oh, you know, you can do that in the bedroom, not right now, sorry." I said. Hazel chuckled. We got to the rooms. George and Lavinia stayed in the room across the hall from our room. Daisy and Amina stayed in a room right next to ours.
We got settled in. I sat on the bed, Hazel sat next to me. "Now you can kiss me." I told her. Hazel kissed me on the lips.
