I woke up next to Hazel. I was still holding her and looked at her. I saw a figure with a knife getting ready to cut Hazel's throat. I quickly tripped the person with my foot. She fell and landed on her back. "OUT!" I said to her.

I called for some doctors and they came in and turned on the lights. I saw the person who tried to kill Hazel—Seema.

Hazel woke up too. "What is Seema doing here?" Hazel asked. I told her everything while crying.

"That rat! Seema, look at me." Hazel said. Seema looked up at her. "Why are you here? You're going to jail either way, so you might as well tell us while you can."

Seema scoffed. "Well," Seema started. "On the night of the murder, I killed Shiloh because Amin told me to. I knew she liked to go on walks, so I hid in the bushes and then when the time was, shot her.

"Then later Kiaan told me you guys were detecting, so I knew, 'take out the pregnant lady, and her husband will stop the detecting for her sake'. So I shot her from the bushes. Now you might be wondering how I shot in her the chest, I'm a good shot.

"But shooting her didn't work. So I called a friend."

"You don't mean...?"

"Yes, that old man was my friend. I told him to kill Hazel. He failed, so I thought I should do it. I failed."
