I woke up and Hazel was curled up next to me. I put my arm around her and sighed. Hazel groaned and woke up. "Oh, hello, dear." I said as she kissed me. "Hello, dear. Should we make breakfast?" Hazel asked, sitting up. "Oh, but I'm comfy with you here." I said. Hazel kissed my cheek and got up. I saw her go to get ready for the day. I got up and went to the bathroom where Hazel was for some fun.
After that, we went for breakfast. "I'll make the breakfast," Hazel told me. "No, you should just rest. Please? I'll make it." I told her. She smiled and started to read. She read some of her last case notes from when she was a kid. "Whoa, I was an idiot." she commented. "No, why would you be?" I asked. "Well, it was clear as day''--she looked out the window and saw it was a cloudy day, not a clear day--"OK. Well, not this day. But it was clear that you liked me." Hazel told me. I smiled as I gave her food. I sat next to her, holding her hand under the table. "Hmm, it's very good, Alex." Hazel told me. I smiled. "Good. Say, how you feeling?" I asked, holding her close. "Good—for a pregnant lady, at least." Hazel told me. I kissed her on the forehead.
After that, we went for a walk. "What should we name our kids?" I asked as we walked. "Boy: Ted. Girl: Lily." Hazel said, holding my hand. "I like those names." I told her. It was pretty-ish day outside. "Isn't it somewhat lovely outside?" Hazel said, squeezing my hand. "Yes, you can thank God for that." I told her, kissing her on the lips. "That's true. Sorry about your dad, by the way." Hazel told me. "Eh, he's in Heaven." I pointed to Heaven. "He's happy up there." I told her, hugging her. "If we have faith, we can enjoy it too." I said, pulling her into a quick kiss. "I wish my parents would make it to Heaven. I know Grandfather didn't." Hazel told me, looking down.
"Won't it be great when we have kids running around?" I asked, holding her close to my shoulder. "Oh, it will. What if we're having twins?" Hazel suggested. "Well, then say goodbye to sleep for awhile." I said, laughing. Hazel laughed, only to be cut off by a kick.
We were visited by Daisy and Amina and Ruthie. "Hello, Ruthie, good to see you." Hazel said, shaking her hand. Ruthie smiled. "You're awfully giddy." I said. "Jeremy kissed me!" Ruthie said, grinning happily. I laughed. I patted her on the head. "Good for you, sport." I said.
