I sat at a table at the little cafe down the street from the school. I tapped my fingers waiting for Mitchel to show up. It was a Saturday and I knew he didn't have any footy today because they had a week were they didn't have a team to play.

Where was he? This was his date... He was already screwing up his first of seven. I couldn't help but to think Clinton would never do this to me.

Suddenly, I hear someone burst through the door. "I'm so sorry, Robyn! I over slept."

"It's 11:30..." I mumbled.

"Yea... It's early for me!" He grinned sitting down across from me. He had slight bed head and his jeans rolled halfway up his calf.

"Umm Mitchel, your shirt is on backwards..." I giggled. He looked down, noticing the tag sticking up on his neck. Flustered, he quickly turned his shirt around.

"We'll let's just pretend that didn't happen." He scratched the back of his neck. I laughed at his odd yet cute shyness.

"So, do you want a drink... Or..." Mitchel started.

I held up my cup. "Sorry... I got impatient and got my own."

Mitchel sighed. "I'm sorry. I really am. It's just that I'm still recovering and-"

"It's OK Mitchel. We're here now." I smiled

"Together." He placed his hand on mine.

*flashback*

"We are here! Together... As a family." My dad had said, pulling the car up to a cabin. The snowy mountains in the background and the smell of pine trees surrounded us.

"Wow. They really are purple mountains." My sister had said. I was about 12 and she was 10. She was my best friend and we told each other everything.

I gave her a small smile and smirked. "You're only saying that because of the song."

"Uhhh... Yeah..." She grabbed her bag out of the car. My parents were standing on the lawn, planning out what we would be doing during the trip.

"I really want to go on a hike." My sister had said. "Robyn, will you go with me?"

I nodded and held out my hand. "Let's go."

"Together." She had said, and with that we had walked off.

*End flashback*

"Earth to Robyn. Oi, there you are." He smiled at me. "You looked really dazed. Are you OK?"

"Yeah um... I'm fine. Just recollecting some thoughts."

"About?"

"My sister."

"I never knew you had a sister."

"Well I had a sister."

Mitchel was quiet for a moment. "What happened to her?"

"She died."

*Flashback*

"Are you sure this is the direction we came from?" I had asked her.

"Yes I remember this weird looking tree." She stroked its trunk. "It reminds me of the one at Nana'a house..."

"The one where you found the battered doll?"

"Yes... Strange isn't it. How small this world is..."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked her.

"We'll no two trees look alike but this one... This is the exact same. Look Robyn... Our names are even carved in the side."

"That's not possible." I walked around the tree and yet I saw clear as day the carving of two stick figure girls holding hands with our names beneath it. "But this was carved in Nana'a tree. It's supposed to be halfway across the world."
