[We are nearing the end of our story here :( only a couple more chapters to go. This one might be a little slower but it will still have some interesting bits :) enjoy!]
I woke up to the sun shining and birds chirping. I thought I was dreaming for a second. Why did everything seem perfect at the moment? I rolled over to face Clinton, who was spooning me.
"Morning sunshine." He said groggily. His sleepy voice was so cute. I couldn't help but to blush. He kissed me gently and stared into my eyes. "You look beautiful."
"I just woke up..."
"So did I... But you're still gorgeous to me."
I smiled at his comment and kissed his lips. "And you're perfect to me."
He pulled me as close as bodies could be. We simply had our undergarments on, so the only thing separating us was a thin layer of clothing.
"I love you." He said quietly.
"I love you too." I smiled, wrapping my arms around him and kissing him again.
Suddenly a knock came at the door. "Robyn? Can I talk to you for a minute?" Jesse's voice said quietly.
"Yea, gimme a sec." I sighed getting up and putting my clothes on.
"Bye, love." I leaned over the bed and kissed Clinton's lips. He kissed back gently mumbling something when I pulled away.
"What did you say?" I asked hoping he would repeat it.
"Nothing, no worries."
I nodded slowly and opened the door a crack and slipped out.
"I really hope you two didn't make a mess on my freaking bed." Jesse grumbled. His arms were crossed and he was tapping his foot.
"We'll change your sheets later." I said simply.
He nodded and led me down the stairs. "So I went in to talk to Mitchel. He was acting normal so I think he's almost over me. Except, he was holding and caressing my hand the whole time. That's the only weird part but he could talk to me in a normal conversation."
"That's a big step. This is good." I said quietly.
Jesse simply nodded as we headed downstairs.
The house was a little too quiet and I was starting to feel weird that it felt like Jesse and I were the only ones here.
"Everyone is still sleeping. My parents went to a golf club for a business thing." He said as if reading my mind.
"How is it that you always know what I'm thinking?" I smiled.
"It's a proven fact: we tend to understand what we like."
I looked away from him and nodded. He went over to the fridge and took out some food supplies. I walked over to help him when I spotted a note on the counter. It read:
'I'm guessing you took my advice son. You were both locked in you're room all night. She seems like a keeper so don't screw it up. ~Dad'
"Did you read this?" I asked Jesse.
He looked over to me and what was in my hand. "No... Give it here."
I handed it over and he started reading. His face flushed red. "O jeez. I'm sorry Robyn... I don't think you were supposed to read that. Damn my father is strange. But it makes sense how he thought it was me, given that it was my room."
I chuckled a little. "Sorry..."
"For what?"
"For using your room."
