[I know I post at random times sometimes but if you have the story saved in your library then it should update and you can read whenever you want :) enjoy!]

"Are you sure I should wear this?" I asked Amanda, looking at my dress in the mirror in my room.

"Mmmhmm! Now spin. I want to see its flowyness." Amanda said looking at me through the mirror, as if she was the designer and I was the model. I twirled and she grinned. "Mitchel will love it!"

"But I told you. I'm not sure Mitchel and I will work out. I was actually going to break up with him today. I don't want to lead him on more than is needed."

Amanda sighed. "Give him a chance. He may be a jerk at times, but he is really sweet. Trust me. I've known him for a while. Christian, Tyrone, Mitchel and I have been best friends since we were kids. We know Mitchel better than anyone."

"Yea... But you don't know me."

She was quiet. "Look, just give it a go and if at the end you don't want to date him then tell him. I honestly think he is better for you than Clinton."

"How so?" I asked skeptically.

"Well, he's your age-"

"Age doesn't matter!" I cut her off.

"Just listen OK. Age... You have similar interests."

"Like what?"

"Us... As your friends."

"But I can say that about Clinton, Jesse, Luke, and Brock as well."

"How about this... He makes you forget about Clinton."

"But Clinton makes me forget about the world."

Amanda was silent. "Shit man, I tried... But you're right. You can't find love like that often... As much as I hate to say it... You should end it with Mitchel now..."

I almost laughed. "Exactly... I feel bad though..."

"Look, just go meet him now before he gets too excited." Amanda said quietly.

I was about to leave the room when I suddenly thought of something.

"Hey Amanda?"

"Yes?"

"Is it true that Mitchel... Gets around..."

Amanda looked away. "You're the first girl that he has ever held his brakes for. He has never pursued a girl for this long..."

"So he's a player?"

"No..."

"Amanda..." I scolded.

"Fine! Yes he is... Just a little."

"How many?"

"Huh?"

"How many girls?"

"Like... 10 or so..."

I nodded my head slowly. "Thanks. That's all I need to know. Don't worry... I won't tell him you told me. Just give me a couple of their names."

"Alright, lets see..." She mumbled to herself. "OK so there's Rebekah, Maggie, Leslie, Andy, Marley, and... I can't remember the others."

"That's fine. That should work."

"What? Why?"

"Well I can use them as an excuse to break up with him."

*Later*

"After you madam." Christian smiled as he helped me out of the car. He and Tyrone were dressed in little butler outfits. Apparently, they were going to serve Mitchel and I. The boys led me to Mitchel who had a blanket set up on the grass in the middle of a meadow. We were about 30 minutes out of town. I took a deep breath and sat down.

"Mitchel this is really nice but I need to tell you something." I said quietly as Tyrone and Christian poured our drinks of sparkling water.

"Yes love. What is it?"

"I um... Can I talk to you privately?"

The boys all looked to each other and Mitchel nodded them off. Tyrone and Christian scurried to the car and sat there watching us.

"I um..." I started to whisper. "I heard about all of the girls you've been with."

Mitchel froze. "Did you?"

"Yes and... I believe that I'm not looking for a player but someone who's committed-"

"I'm not a player." He interrupted.

"It sure appears that way... 10 girls... Mitchel.. That's a lot in like 2 or 3 years. You were barely in high school. 13 Mitchel."

"Yea, well you were 15!"

"Almost 16. And I've only done it once... With the person I love."

Mitchel scoffed. "You sure about that. You would think my nasty brother would try it on you a couple more times."

"Actually, I was the one who tried to initiate the second round, the day we left camp... But he thought it would be too much like a good bye. So we didn't."

Mitchel sat in silence. "I never realized..."

"Mitchel, Clinton isn't just affected by the obsession... He actually loves me. I know you like me as a friend and such but do you actually love me?"

Mitchel sat in silence for 5 minutes. I glanced back at the car to see Christian and Tyrone smacking each other and biting their nails... It's like they knew I was breaking up with him yet they still didn't know exactly what was going to happen.

"I don't." Mitchel finally answered.

"Hmm?"

"I don't love you... I... I'm sorry... I guess I just realized..." He scratched the back of his neck. "I... It's weird... I get the sudden feeling of emptiness. I don't know if it's because of rejection or..."

"The effect..." I whispered. "I think it left you... I convinced the obsession to leave you." I looked back at the boys in the car. They were practically hugging each other in anticipation of what Mitchel and I were doing. "Would you mind explaining the whole butler thing...?"

"Funny story... Christian and I switched roles..."

I raised an eyebrow.

"Yea... I'm not going into detail." He laughed.

[I know some of you may be sad she didn't end up with Mitchel but the drama isn't over yet... Keep in mind the flashbacks and characters that haven't really had big parts yet...]
