"And that's when our kingdom and King Heinrich united as one, so we would no longer be at war", my mother said, pushing back her long fiery red hair.

"But Mommy, why were we fighting with King Heinrich in the first place? I thought we were always allies with them...not enemies?" I raise an eyebrow while looking at my beautiful mothers freckled face. She gently smiles, smoothing back my hair,

"Well Mari, King Heinrich's kingdom was having issues with money, which ultimately made him steal a lot of money from us," she sighs, anger shoots across her face but then it softens once again.

"Your father was furious, he wanted to prove to our people that they'd be protected, so he did just that!" my mother says excitedly, smiling brightly.

"So once the battle between us was over your Dad, King Heinrich, Uncle Baron, and myself got together and agreed for this to never happen again."

"I'm glad we aren't fighting anymore Mom, that was a great story, thank you for telling it to me." I smiled, as I layed on her shoulder and quickly fell asleep.

And that was the memory I had while I watched six men carry my mothers casket to where her earthly body will be for the rest of time. A tear streamed down my cheek as I walked behind them, realizing I had lost my best friend. My cousin Josephine who has always looked more like my mother than I ever had looks over at me,

"I know this is hard Artemis, but you'll be okay. I'll be here for you anytime you need me." she smiles, putting her arm over my shoulder.

"Thank you Josie, you have always been a good friend to me. I hope I've done the same for you."

We finally get to where my mother will be buried, right next to her mother and father. Josephine holds me close, as I look to the ground for comfort. Once they had finally placed my mother over the hole, I looked up and sigh knowing that my father or I will be the first one to place a flower on top of it. I grab a marigold from the basket a handmaiden was holding and place it on the casket.

"I'll love you forever Mother, forever." I turned and walked back towards Josephine with my head towards the ground. My father is the last one to put a marigold onto my moms forever bed and turns towards everyone and says proudly but sternly,

"Long live the Queen!" and everyone copies his words.

After everyone had left I saw my father talking to an older gentleman and a younger one. They looked familiar but I couldn't put names to their faces, The older one had longer hair that was mixed with brown and gray, sad brown eyes, and while he was talking to my Father he would grit his teeth like he was in pain, and he was holding the younger one by the back of the neck with a sense of control. The younger one had the same length hair as who I assumed to be his father, it was a deep chestnut brown, beautiful green eyes that reminded me of the fields we have at home, and he had a smile that gave me goosebumps. Josephine walked up to me and chuckled,

"you're drooling,"

I looked at her quickly wiping my face hoping she was joking. She was. I playfully smack her on the arm,

"You know who that is right?" I shook my head at her question, still staring at the young man,

"Well that's King Heinrich, and that," Josephine points at the handsome man I was literally drooling over,

"is Prince Harry."
