Epilogue

A few months after Duke Baron Ainsworth couldn't be found most girls that went missing were found in brothels, and reunited with their families. Artemis made sure that the ones who weren't reunited with family had a place in the castle to stay, and she plans on having a side castle built for the orphanage Aurora stayed at in memory of the light she put her into Artemis and Harry's life. Kit and Hyacinthus are getting married today. Artemis and Harry walk into the ceremony space hand in hand, and they both have bright smiles on their faces. "I told you we would have another wedding soon." Artemis giggles looking at Harry knowing she was right.

"Yes Princess, you did tell me. Now when will you stop bragging about it?" Harry chuckles, running a hand over Artemis' growing bump. She is about 4 months along now and her stomach is definitely growing. "I can't believe you're twenty weeks along now, when do we find out the gender again?" Harry asks eagerly.

"Our next ultrasound is next week, so I am assuming then." Artemis shuffles in her seat trying to get comfortable. Surprisingly enough they didn't want anyone but them at the altar when they were getting married. Harry had checked on Kit before he and Artemis sat down and Kit was a worried mess, but he was grateful that King Reagan agreed to walk him down the aisle and to marry him and Hyacinthus.

"You look great, Kit. Hyacinthus is a lucky man." King Reagan smiles his bright smile at Kit as he paces the hallway waiting to enter the ceremony space. "Is there anything I can do that'll make you less nervous?"

"Um, let me run away?" Kit jokes, but you can hear a hint of seriousness in his voice.

"That would be your decision, but I don't think it is a good one." King Reagan chuckles and Kit grumbles a complaint that no one can hear. Kit never imagined he would get married. He always thought he'd end up like his father and just have useless shags for the rest of his life, but when he met Hyacinthus everything changed. Kit had known he was gay his whole life, but he knew as long as Heinrich was alive he couldn't ever be happy with another man. Bells begin to ring into Kit's ears which makes him realize it is almost time.

"I guess it's too late for running." Kit chuckles as he wraps his arm around Reagan's, and Reagan holds onto Kit's hand gently trying to show his support. "Thank you Reagan, I couldn't do this without you." King Reagan feels his heart tighten at Kit's words.

"Of course Kit let's get you in there." The large wooden doors open and Kit and King Reagan are walking towards the altar. All eyes are on Kit as he is wearing a sleek black suit, and his hair is finally cut shorter than it's ever been. Once he made his escape after everyone thought he died, he knew it was time to cut his hair just like Harry did. Harry nods at him as Kit passes the pews and Kit feels a tear appear in his eye, but dries it up quickly. After a few moments of waiting the doors open and music starts and Kit looks up to see Hyacinthus.

Hyacinthus is wearing an all white suit with a black tie that compliments Kit's suit perfectly, and he is being walked down the aisle by his father. Kit feels his stomach twist and he looks at Harry for a second and Harry does a gesture to show him to keep breathing. Nodding quickly Kit turns back, and looks at Hyacinthus, and all the air he just took in leaves him. Tears fill his eyes as he looks at his soon to be husband, and they stream down his cheeks. When Hyacinthus finally arrives Kit walks down to hold his hand. Hyacinthus' father hugs Kit quickly and kisses him on the cheek. "Thank you for loving my son." he whispers, which makes Kit smile widely. He does love Hyacinthus, And Hyacinthus loves Kit.

A few moments pass and it is finally time for the two men to kiss each other. "You may kiss your husband!" King Reagan says proudly, and Kit and Hyacinthus immediately collapse into each other. There have been many passionate kisses before this one, but this one left them all behind. Hyacinthus pulls away first and kisses Kit's nose softly.

"My husband." He snickers, picking Kit up and spinning him around before they walk down the aisle together.

Harry and Artemis are eating their dinner during the reception when Harry quickly grabs a hold of Artemis' hand and leads her towards the dance floor. "Harry, I was still eating!" Artemis whines and Harry chuckles softly as he presses his body against hers.

"You can eat later. Right now I want to dance with my wife at our brother's wedding." Harry kisses the top of Artemis' head and they sway back and forth to the music. "How're you feeling baby?" He kisses her temple, and rubs a small circle on her lower back.

"I'm okay," She sighs thinking about what's been stressing her, "I'm worried about what Baron could be doing though."

"Artemis we have guards on every section of the castle and every area in the kingdom. Every room we walk into there has to be at least six. You and the baby are as safe as you can be." Harry brings Artemis' head up to look into his eyes, and he has a soft smile on his lips. He worries about Artemis' safety more than anyone, but he is doing everything in his power to protect her and their unborn child. Once King Heinrich finally died he figured he wouldn't have to worry about anyone he loves going through pain. But he was very wrong.

A few hours into the reception, a guard runs in and hurry's over to King Reagan. His face falls at the guards words and turns to Harry and nods at him to let him know he needs to follow. Once King Reagan and Harry make it outside to where the guard told them to go, they see a woman on the ground weeping. "My daughter! She's gone!" She gasps for air, as it seems to be she is having an anxiety attack. Harry kneels down to her and begins trying to calm her down. "He took her!" She screams looking into Harry's eyes.

"Who took who ma'am?" Harry asks her as he notices multiple handmaid's rushing out waiting for their cue to take her inside.

"The man who has been stealing all of the little girls! He stole my daughter!" The woman yells as the handmaid's begin bringing her inside to calm her down so she doesn't make too big of a scene. King Reagan walks over to Harry obviously distressed and whispers into Harry's ear.

"No one will hear about this. Not even Artemis. Do you understand?" Harry nods at King Reagan's words. "The Kingdom is finally calming down after we raided all of the brothels, and Artemis doesn't need this stressing her out. In the distant pastures out of sight from the castle they can't see him, but he can see them. Baron sits on a hill smirking looking at all of the chaos he is bringing into their lives. He puts his arm around the girl he just took from her home, and she has tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Oh honey." Baron wipes the tears off of her cheeks, and smiles at her gently. "Don't worry I'll be taking care of you from now on." Baron looks back at his former King and laughs to himself. "They will not be celebrating for much longer."
