"You just have to try harder then you fight, you might be lost like sunshine in the night."

Minho was prepared. It was the day that he and jisung got together.

Jeongin was supposed to be there any second.

"Hey! Sorry for being a little late." He said visibly in rush.

"It's ok. We can go now, hyunjin is waiting in front of the coffee shop." Minho said taking his car keys.

They arrived there meeting with Hyunjin and Seungmin.

"Hey." Both of them greeted the other two.

"I missed you both." Jeongin said hugging the two of them.

"We missed you too innie." Seungmin and Hyunjin hugged him back.

They missed his soft scent.

Seungmin smiled. "I'm gonna go then. Enjoy your date yall." Seungmin put a quick soft peck on hyunjins beautifully plumped lips.

Jeongin was watching and then his small smile slowly dropped when he realized that he missed this.

"Bye guys!" Seungmin waved and left.

"I see your relationship is going strong." Minho said as they walked inside the cafeteria.

"We are happy together. How about you innie?" Hyunjin asked as they sat down at the reserved table.

"I... don't have anyone currently..." he scratched the back of his head nervously and smiled.

"Really?" Hyunjin said not believing his ears. "Someone like you should always have someone. You're one of the cutest omegas I've ever seen." He said.

"I was in a few relationships... but all they wanted was just one-night stand or they were really desperate for someone with my face..." jeongin said playing with the strings of his hoodie.

"So you're really alone..." hyunjins look got serious. "When I broke up with you... I was hoping that you'll find someone even better than I am. I would've never tought, that you'll end up like this..."

"Hyunjin... you being with seungmin is the best decision you could've ever done. Don't feel bad for choosing seungmin over me." Jeongin said trying to reassure him.

"How about poly relationship?" Minho said all of a sudden.

"Polyamory?" Hyunjin looked at jeongin.

"Yeah. I mean... it might work..." Minho said.

"I- I don't wanna invade anyone's relationship." Jeongin said panicking.

"But you wouldn't. You three would love each other equally, but it's your decision. I was just giving out a possible option." Minho said ending the sentence when he saw that the waitress was coming.

"Hello, what can I get you?" She said nicely.

"An ice cream and Latte." Minho said and smiled.

"Vanilla or raspberry ice cream." She asked.

"Vanilla." He said.

The other two ordered as well. In the meantime, the three of them were chatting together.

When she came back with their order, Minho noticed a paper with a phone number on it. "You're still very popular." Hyunjin said.

"They can scent that I'm not marked freshly. Minho said looking down. I never want it to fade." Minho touched the scar on his neck.

"I don't want people to think that I don't belong to anyone... I belong to jisung... and to jisung only..." minho saddened and took a bite out of his ice cream.

The moment he tasted the sweet taste of vanilla, tears started running down his face. It reminded him of jisungs sweet vanilla scent.

"Hyung... if he didn't mark you then... you would move on much faster... he's going to stick with you forever like this-" hyunjin paused. "- did you order a vanilla ice cream?"

Minho put his spoon down and dried his tears. "I'm fine hyunjin... I need to get used to it..."

"It's been 4 years hyung... you've been doing that for 4 years and nothing has changed since..." hyunjin said worriedly.

Jeongin hugged minho trying to release some pheromones to calm the other down. "I'm not even alone... I have a wife... I should be happy... shouldn't I?" Minho said as tears were running down his face.

"You never let her mark you... did you..." minho nodded. "I'm surprised that she's still with you..."

"I know... I think she's calm just because she knows that he's dead..." Minho said wiping off his tears.

"That reminded me of something..." hyunjin said all of a sudden. "Did you guys hear about the new technology that the biggest corporation in Korea is working on?"

"No." Minho said drinking his coffee.

"They are working on something big. They didn't explain what YET, but do you all know, what the corporation is specializing in?" Hyunjin said.

"Also no." Minho listened.

"In some DNA-type shit. Maybe they're gonna make new pills for omegas... or they might be working on something more complicated. Like marge omega and alpha DNA to make a new sub-group... or something more exciting..." hyunjin said.

"I don't know... I'm not really into this type of technology I guess. I feel like they just try to get our hopes up." Minho said not thinking much of it.

"Also... this looks like the guy from jisungs funeral..." hyunjin said and pointed at the picture from some conference.

"Oh... yeah... it is... I think his name was Chan..." he looked at the name under the picture. "... Bang Christopher Chan... yeah... that's jisungs friend..." Minho said.

"I knew that it was him. He's the current CEO of the company."

"Then I might have my hopes up. He was jisungs friend, so I believe in him." Minho said finishing his coffee.

"Innie?" Hyunjin said catching his attention. "Do you mind giving me your phone number again? I lost it some time ago and forgot to add it."

"Yeah... sure." Jeongin took his phone and typed in his number.

"Thanks."

They spend some more time talking and then went back home.

"Hey." Minho greeted his wife.

"Hey honey. How was your day?" She asked as she was cooking dinner.

"It was nice seeing my friends after a while." He said taking off his jacket.

"Did you hear about the new technology from the company owned by the new CEO? They are finally making some progress." She said.

"From when are you interested in these things?" He walked up to her and hugged her from behind.

"It's just exciting. And everyone's talking about it anyway." She turned around to face him.

"You look tired." She cupped his face and smiled. Here's your dinner dear."

"Thanks he kissed her cheek and put his plate on the table.

"Yeah, can you please turn on the TV? They are revealing the new technology today." She said.

Minho took the remote control and turned it on.

"... and, were here with Mr. Bang the new CEO of the 3.R.A company. Mr. Bang, could you tell us more about what your team has been working on for the past few years?" The moderator asked.

"We've been working on a few things actually. The one that we're revealing today is the one, that ive been working on because of myself mostly. And thats actually... bringing somone back alive."
