"Una fata in Gardenia. È stato l'evento più inaspettato che si è verificato proprio davanti ai miei occhi"." Racconta Bloom.

Sunday, August 22, 2004
Nearly two months later, on August 19th of this year 2004, Bloom woke up to her Mother yelling almost in her ear. "You're gonna be late Bloom!"

"Oh no! School!" She exclaimed. "Ugh, this terrible, why didn't the alarm go off!.. Hang on a minute! The alarm didn't go off cause I'm still on vacation. Your joke is not funny, Mom."

"Ah, but you fell for it." stated Vanessa softly. "Besides now that school is out, you can help me in the shop."

"No, not the shop!" She cried in her voice but not with tears. "I'm still sleepy, I'm going back to bed."

"You know you should've really gone to bed early, you were up really late last night." Vanessa informed her.

"I was reading." She responds.

"Fairies: Myth or Reality? Don't you? ever get tired of these silly things?" asks Vanessa.

"They're not silly okay." stated Bloom.

"You didn't read so much on the evening on May 29, of this year you were in bed at 8:20 after Andy brought you after that school dance."

"My eyes were too tired to read and focus on the words on the pages, Mom." stated Bloom.

Bloom's P. Ov.
By the time I woke up it was already 7:30 in the morning. It was August 19, 2004 and little did I know everything was about to change for me when someone innocent, strange and more special than I ever hoped I could ever dream to be would meet me.

I came downstairs for breakfast, which were nice cooked eggs.

"Good Morning, Sunshine." Dad greets me.

"I'm not gonna spend my vacation working in the shop." I stated to my Father who was sipping hot chocolate from his mug.

"Don't you worry, we'll all be going away very soon." Mike told me.

"But all my friends go on holidays by themselves, that would have been the best present ever!" sighed Bloom.

"When you're older you can go anywhere you want." Mike persists.

"How much older is older, Dad? I'm almost 16?" I asked him yet again.

"Only 16, but you're still my little girl." Mike said to me obviously reminiscing about my younger kiddie years he had raised me."

"Speaking off presents, we have something for you." Vanessa informs me meeting my Dad in the eyes.

"Really?" I asked

"Yeah, just a little something to help you get around Gardenia." Mike admits pointing to the door. Bloom rushed out but when she saw the bike, her beaming face faded a little bit.

"Cool, huh?"

"Uh yeah, thanks." I stammered. I started walking the bicycle away and my pet rabbit followed along behind me. I could always rewarm my Mom's breakfast that she made for me.

"Ugh, he'll never change." I said grumpily. "He'll never let me ride anything faster than a bike."

Loud engines of a big delivery truck came to a halt next door.

"Hey, Bloom, vacationing in Gardenia this year?" Mitzi her next door neighbor of the house on her left.

"No, actually, we'll be going away very soon, Mitzi." I answered her.

"The same old beach, huh? I'll send you a postcard from where our vacation place that will give you a chance to really see something."

I groaned.
