The First Dance Saved

Back in our dorm the other girls and I were in Stella's room as she showed off her new dress for the dance tonight to us. The other three girls already had their dresses on and prepared.

"Well what do you think?" Stella asked us.

"It's gorgeous, Stella." I tell her first.

"Mind you it wasn't cheap, but look at!" exclaims Stella. "It was calling me from the shop window... "'Buy me, buy me, please!'"
reenacted whatever weird shenanigans going on inside of her mind. From her constant blabbering about her obsession with beauty and fashion I guess her downstairs brain was far more active which would easily account for all her oblivious behavior currently. It is also called your autopilot brain.

"And of course you answered its plea. How very noble of you." Musa responds quite sarcastically.

"Well, I'm bound to make an impression!" sighed Stella.

"Uh, huh, I heard the guys from Redfountain are really cute." adds Flora to the conversation switching the subject which I was thankful for actually.

"Guys?! As if I care about that." stated Tecna in a snark tone.

"Then why are you dressed like an absolute diva?" remarks Musa harshly.

"That's besides the point, you attend a ceremony, you dress accordingly." Tecna corrects her.

"She's right that's the way on Earth you're always expected to dress a certain way for school dances, Musa." I agreed with Tecna.

"Yeah, sure! Bloom is right that Tecna is right, especially as a Princess like me you wear the wrong thing to a prestigious ceremony you'll be remember as an embarrassment the rest of your life and go down in history." Stella explained about herself as Princess.

"Sorry, not to interrupt, but do you think they'll let me in like this?" I inquired pointing to my casual Earth clothes. "Ace asked me to do him the honor of the first dance with him. I said. "Yes!"

"I thought you said you liked Brandon." coos Stella. "What's with Ace now?"

"He's just a friend it's only the first dance of the night. A good friend actually he protected all of you and as a student he should be included in the dance." I stated.

"He asked me if I'd do him the honor of a second dance." admitted Flora. "When you promise something you stick to it. So Bloom you don't have a dress?"

"No, I don't cause this is something Stella failed to mention to tell me to pack."

"Oops! Did I accidentally do that?" asked Stella slyly.

"Save it Stella we know you've been very sassy and quite a liar in the last 12 hrs." Tecna cut her off immediately.

"Well, I do know there is one solution to Bloom's dilemma." stated Stella. "Time to hit the Magix city dress shops. Let's go shopping for her girls, now!"
