Bloom had been at her work that Sunday morning at the diner again. She left with the same pay she had last week at the end of her morning shift. Ace was there to walk her back to Alfea Academy campus.
"Eurgh! It is so hard to get close to her." stated Darcy. "It would've helped if we knew something about her Earth life. That would trigger a faster reaction."
"Patience Darcy we act with our magic too soon and we'll be rats in a trap and that boy is a problem, his magic is unlike any I've ever seen." said Icy. "Stella's bound to annoy the rest of the girls with her occassional over bubbliness, gossiping and sassy teasing them about the guys they like. And we still have Riven as a back up plan anyways."
"Why are we going after someone who can fly and defend herself wouldn't it be better to save the whole voodoo thing with her doll when she's officially triggered after something tragic has happened?" suggested Stormy. "I think it'd better to switch from Plan A to Plan B instead."
"Baby sis might have a point that way Raine can no longer back us into a corner."
Reflecta was listening quietly from the corner.
"Better, much better." She answered under her breath. "Riven will wake up and it won't be till next year both of them realize I'm his stepsister. What?! I know you wanna know why Riven's an orphan, Readers. You'll have to stay hooked Skylights. I'm not spoiling anything." says Reflecta raising her eyebrows at you the readers and then with a fancy sweep of her cape she turnt around her green pants melting into the forest background."Tecna, is this some kind of game?!"
"You heard Palladium he said we could do better with our team up project tomorrow in class, through it already, Stella!" Tecna irked her on.
"Practicing my magic is the last thing I want to work on, Tecna."
"You're just lazy and ashamed of losing!"
When Bloom left the city, the Trix returned to Cloudtower.
"Young ladies have you found a way to make up for your mistakes of embarrassing this school's ferocity. I want an answer by the end of the week is that clear."
"Yes, Headwitchtress Griffin." agreed Icy.
"I hate sulking up to her."
"Patience Darcy, we have to keep her in the dark just as the fairies are." stated Icy. "Don't let her hear you!"
She sent her middle sister of their triplet set with a frozen unkind and annoyed glare."Solarblast Ray!" exclaimed Stella. It set half of Tecna's simulated holographic cage on fire. Stella was detransformed and steam leapt off her body. She was crying on her knees.
"I don't know if I can do this." stammered Stella. "Maybe my bullies were right, I should have stayed home and completely ran away."
"What the heck are you talking about?!" asked Bloom.
"I messed up and you guys face troubles because of my naivety."
"Stella the Witches' minions attacked you first." said Musa. "Self Defense was the proper response."
"You're not the only one the witches attacked first they've also attacked Bloom too." Flora said. "We had to defend her."
"I appreciate you trying to cover up my mistake, but please don't, Flora, I gave them a reason to attack me, Stella didn't. I was snooping and I knew better. In fact, I was taught better on Earth, and my vulnerability to fainting is my price to pay for that terrible mistake, roomie."
Bloom was tired. She had been tired ever since Alfea had started its education for her as a fairy.
"Are you going to meet up with Faragonda and Violete, Bloom?" asked Tecna.
"Yeah, I have to give her my town work report, I have to keep active or I can go back into a broken repetitive relapse and thanks Tecna for sharing your blood to wake me up."
"No, problem," answered Tecna. "Good luck."
"Thanks, that means a lot." sighed Bloom. She walked out of the Gymnasium after trusting Ginger to make sure her friends didn't take training far too seriously. Violete walked up to her. Bloom met her straight in the eyes.
"You're are– or you were right all along—Vi"
"Shush, Bloom, nobody else needs to know I wanted you to know so you knew you belonged." She put her fingers on Bloom's lips. "I felt it was wrong that you didn't know, youngling fairy. I could never keep secrets from my own family, sweetie. Faragonda's waiting for us."
"Thank you," said Bloom. Violete took her hand and they walked hand in hand together to Faragonda's office.
"Good morning Violete, and Miss Bloom, how is your magic progressing?"
"Rather difficultly actually, but I am mastering levitation spells easily." responded Bloom. "My working job in town lets me practice those, but the rest of the spells are difficult to project and connect with since it's a mystery why I have these powers in the first place. I don't even know anything of their origins." Violete clenched her fists. She knew Faragonda knew exactly who the child in front of her was. And it made her mad that she wouldn't come out with the whole full truth of it. Faragonda's hardened glare felt like a saw through the skin. She has to figure out her destiny on her own. Bloom was a heavy doubter even Violete could see that in the worn out girl's facial expressions how would Bloom believe in her true story if she didn't believe in her own confidence of herself either.
"I suggest considering what happened after your last fight you remain as active as possible in the day to keep your body exhausted from the work so it has less time to think about breaking down all over again, Bloom, are you even listening to me?"
