August 24, 2004
"Well, I am schooling here because my Mom recommend me for Alfea before she passed and I am not allowed to live alone on Melody till I reach the age of 18 years old. I am 16 years old." said Musa informing everyone of us. "And my Dad's out of town on his hip hop supervising tour unfortunately."

"I am here to open up the world of Zenith's primitive thinking by putting Alfea education f or digital and electronic fairies to a trial test. So far I prefer here to Zenith minus the food." Tecna adds calmly.

"My Mom went here too, and I want to follow after in her footsteps to become a real fairy that's successful, beautiful, powerful and universally admired!" Stella proclaimed showing off a little too much pride and vanity still. "Of course, I also want to do good stuff too... like making people happy, and bringing back together estranged lovers starting with my parents, girls!"

"How about you, Flora?" I asked her again. "Cause I have no idea what I am doing here period!"

"There wasn't any other choice for me as of right now there is no fairy school on Linphea and Alfea's always had a flux of nature fairies from my natural nature realm. So I am primarily here to learn and embrace all the opportunities I can separate of the culture I grew up with and because I really love to learn things!"

Stella picks up my pillow at the head of my bed and throws it in Flora's facing shouting. "That's such a nerdy answer, Flora."

Musa and I start chuckling away. Tecna looked on and shook her head. Flora and Stella start laughing too afterwards.

"Stella, never knew you heard of a pillow fight?" I gasped giggling. "It's the best fun thing about sleeping over at an Earthling girl's own home!"

"This is what you call fun?" asked Tecna. "Slapping someone in the face with the dressing for the head of a dormitory bed? Isn't it bad to hit someone!"

I picked up a pillow and tossed it at Tecna. It's floofiness whacked her directly in the face.

"Lighten up, join the fun, Tecna." encouraged Musa. "But if you ask me they're the ones who started it." She gestured to me and Stella. Stella was gleaming with delight in her face.

"1 round then it's off to bed for everyone." Tecna agreed insisting. "And lights off, okay?"

We nodded and we played Pillow Fight for 15 more minutes until we were all yawning. Stella went off to her room and turnt out her own lights. Tecna and Musa went back to the room they shared and quietly went to bed. Flora closed our dorm door that we shared right this minute.

"You worried about sleep coming to you easily tonight? So am I, Bloom. I didn't sleep well last night either." Flora responds as soon as we were in pajamas quietly passing conservations between one another.

"Yeah, I heard this voice say, "Remember." I mumbled. "Then I saw this hall with marble white columns and the rest of the hall was golden with a light at the end of the tunnel I was unable to reach each time I ran forward."

"Mine was like that only it's about me and my family on Linphea especially my little sister. There is this wall that keeps barring my way to her in the central heart of the forest of Linphea, Bloom. I hear her keep screaming my name repeatedly."

"Do you think those walls have something to do with the rumors other kids spread about your Father cheating on your Mom, Flora? Does Miele believe them?"

"She doesn't believe them any of them at all." Flora said. A peculiar light shone from her emerald eyes now all the colors of the rainbow were casting from them currently.

"I think there is an unseen enemy trying to physically you distanced from one another, Flora. For you to have nightmares that vividly as a fairy just starting school I am more than certain both your paths are filled with strong tribulations, dear roomie. Enough nightmare talk. Let's try to sleep again and if we both have the same dreams again, tomorrow I'll read some children stories from Earth that ought to take your mind off it all." I encourage her.

She nodded and we pulled out blankets up and lay our hands down on the pillows of the bed. 8:15 in the morning, we had both overslept.

"FLORA!" I shout shaking her in her bed. She woke up with a start. "We're late for Breakfast today's August 21, 2004, girl."

"I guess your advice didn't work for you either?"'asked Flora as she magically changed to her normal school clothes. I sadly sighed. "Yep, you're right." as I took notice of how messy both our comforters and bedsheets were we had tossed and turnt a lot during the night.

"Well, it's about time, wonderin' what took you two so long?" Stella greeted us with her udusl sunny attitude with her matter-of-factly tone that told us she didn't really care to hear the answer.

"We overslept." I said saving Flora from having to repeat the same statement as the previous day itself. There was dinging that came from the high staff table at the end of the hall by Headmistress Faragonda hitting her teacup gently with her teaspoon and she coughed. Young ladies, your Attention, please! As is the tradition amongst the magic schools here, the annual gala in honor of our new students will be held here tonight! Students of Alfea College for Fairies and the Redfountain School for Knights and Magicians will gather here in our castle to perform the traditional welcome gift exchange ceremony!" Faragonda announced.

What?! A dance here? Tonight?! With strange boys? I never bothered to pack a dress in my suitcase? School dances on Earth happen at the end of the school year not the start of the year. This would be one of my Last Normal Years to remember.

There was loud clapping that interrupted my thoughts coming from no other than Mistress Griselda as she silenced the excited crowd of young fairies around us. "Silence! Your Headmistress Faragonda is speaking! Let's show a little respect!"

"Thank you, Ms. Griselda." responded Faragonda. "One more thing, I'd like to say, I'm calling on all of your creative minds to turn this ordinary looking hall into a festive ballroom, so today's classes are cancelled."

"Classes are cancelled and this is just the second day?" asked Tecna. "There aren't dances on Zenith at all."

"What do we have to do for the party?" I asked.

"Easy, Bloom, just get ready to have a ball!" exclaims Stella too excited.

"I'll provide the decorations." Flora states. (slight change to Flora's magic and abilities with plants she can't touch roses in this reality so it's going to be carnations to decorate the columns) she used her magic to decorate the pillars with red carnation climbing vines.

"I thought you were more of a rose girl." pries Stella. Flora ran off at that.

"What? Was it something I say?"

"Duh, Miss Captain Oblivious!" Tecna said. "I'll go find her, Bloom."

"Thank you, Tecna." I called after my friend who already disappeared round the corner. Why didn't Flora care for roses? That's peculiar.

"And, I'll provide the music, I mean what's a party without dancing?" inquired Musa.

"A drag?!" I try to make a joke out of it immediately to lift up the mood a-bit.

"And I'll worry about what to wear. Clothes are important too!" stated Stella. "And of course, I refuse to go unnoticed.! Let me show ya'll my dress I got yesterday from one of the stores that's in my closet!"
