Bloom's Subconscious.
I could not wake myself up. I stood in a black void clouds everywhere. Half whole and now fully again. When Faragonda revoked my powers, I never felt empty without them period. But Brandon didn't catch me when I fell of the sofa, Ace did. Why did Stella think I am attracted to blond boys, I am not.
Flashback
"Well, well Bloom."
"Mitzi," I stammered.
"I guess you're not to shabby if you got a medal for slow dance with Andy, yesterday, Bloom, even if you are mediocre and poor, dear
"What the heck are you doing in my house here?" I asked.
"I came to ask your Mom when I can pick up my Mom's flowers' orders, but I can't seem to find her."
"She's out back in the gardens." I responded. "Why didn't you pull a prank on me yesterday at the dance only Darma did?"
"Darma's jealous that Andy hangs out with you so often, because he's half American. And she only does child's play which doesn't impress me. I'm more interested in my rich blonde boys at school."
"Very realistic indeed." I reply back.
"Plus I didn't feel like myself ruining my makeup, Bloom. It's so much easier to verbally taunt you compared to pranking you."
"Really?" I ask surprised.
"Words hold more power than most think."
"Nope, you believe a lie. Actions will always speak louder than words, Mitzi."
I opened the back door for her, gesturing. "Please go do what you must to get what information you need."
Rich girls always wanted Blonde boys as their dates or boyfriends. That's why when Sally hit the dance floor with her partner I remember he was not blonde at all. In fact I remember he was crippled his arm in a sling. I had asked around about him.
"That's Malu he's my best friend, Bloom." Leo told me the next day. "He got hurt too, I heard about Sally going to the hospital on that final gym exam day. I suggested he ask her out knowing she'd be careful to watch his every step."
"Hey, brother, hello Miss Peters."
"Rio, how's the mechanics job on cars?" I asked Leo's black haired older brother too.
"Going well, caught a scammer yesterday morning, got him sent to jail." Rio responded.
"Good job to you."
A red haired woman walked up to us, her hair was long and straight, she was from our rival high school in Salerno the real next door town on the western cost of Italy within the Campanian region.
"So this is your little group of Campania Italian high-school friends. Valley, come on over here, bestie. My name is Joylee, you are?"
"I am Bloom Peters." I answered shaking her hands. Valley came over to us a girl two years older than me, striking pale blonde hair, brown eyes. A mystery aura lingered about her.
"Have I seen you before, Miss Valley?" I asked.
"Call me, Vale, Bloom, I come around with our cheer squad."
"With Petunia?"
"Oh no, I said she lost her edge she was very mad about that, I'm the Captain now." Petunia was worse than Mitzi she beat up a helpless little girl on the street once. When I got there the second time I refused to let her do it again, she was furious. The family of the little girl was getting evicted from their only known home. Her hair was in an a Snow White updo with a red bow on the left side. She was stunning. I had no idea I was meeting and introducing myself to one of my future foes' daughter right there. She handed me her number, and I gave her mine. We hit it off after that dance night introduction immediately. It was the first time I made friends with someone outside of town.
"Say there is this new English Father and Daughter who moved into your town and just opened a Smoothie Bar Cafe, and I also here they have a live band play there to entertain the customers, Bloom, would you like to come with me and check it out next month?"
"Like it?" I asked. "I'd love too."
I told Mom all about her. "She's the first female friend coming to town that makes me feel really alive, Mom, can I go with her please?"
"I don't see why not, she seems like a true sweetheart right now."
We did go to Fruitti Music Bar on Saturday, June 12, 2004.
"Wow, this place is so rocking, isn't it?" asked Vale.
"Yeah, betcha pretty soon it will be a bright teen hotspot for relaxing in summer."
"Bloom, you are so cheesy, it is summer already!" exclaimed Vale.
"New customers, welcome would you like a fruit salad or fruit smoothie? I'm Klaus the owner of this quirky establishment."
"Daddy, keep talking like that, you'll scary them off. I'm Roxanne, but everyone calls me Roxy, I think you should try our special mango and strawberry milkshakes." Roxy immediately responded.
"How old are you?" I asked as she handed me a strawberry milkshake.
"12, at least I will be twelve on July 9," Roxy answered me. "Why?"
"So you're transferring to Gardenia Grade High next year?"
"Yeah, I start in the fall." Roxy answered.
There was a distinct howling.
"Artu, you're okay, little pup." Roxy cooed and picked up her little bloodhound sweet puppy.
"Oh, lucky, I've always wanted a dog!" exclaimed Vale. Roxy had just handed her a mango milkshake quite rather quickly. We sat down at a table together as new friends.
"Oh, no, Mitzi's here, Vale." I whispered immediately.
"No sweat, you're with me one of the cool girls, young lady."
"Oh, look who it is my favorite next door dork of a neighborhood girl."
"That's a mouthful if I ever heard anything else, Mitzi." I respond. "Why do it to me and make your voice hoarse from too many too many words rolling off your tongue, young lady?"
"You're boring that's why, what are you doing with a competing high-school anyways, Miss Peters."
"It's called Neighboring Town Cooperation and Tolerance Miss Mitzi, you should try it sometime, it's fun, I guarantee you'll enjoy someone's company just as I enjoy Bloom's in fact, I'm gonna be in town the rest of June while we have competitions and I'd like to take you to a special place, Miss Peters, it's called the Forest of Flowers. A major wonder of Gardenia Italy."
"It's a pathetic excuse of a meadow, Valley."
"Of course you would say that since you have no taste in manners, no taste in modest clothing and no taste in how the ecosystem develops, I'm in an ecology club that protects natural environment as it is." retorts Valley at Mitzi.
"How dare you, you crazy Salerno town sweetheart."
"Uh no, don't think about it, we're in a public place." I warned her right away defending Valley
"Fine, Bloom." Mitzi groans very immediately and walks away finally.
"How did you know that would work, Bloom?" Valley inquires of me.
"Mitzi hates ruining her designer duds." I inform her. "And her parents hate dry cleaning them, it is an expensive task to pay to get done, Lady Valley, so tell me about the Forest of Flowers that's in town here?"
"Yeah, I used to be in the orphanage not the one you talk about mine was in much worse state farther downtown. The attendants were far from nice when I gotta assigned to job training, I ran away as the bus moved out I jumped out the window soon as we were far away from the downtown area right now. I gotta adopted by an older woman in Salerno a woman color who is very nice and sweet, Miss Bloom."A mirror was in front of me in with a gold frame and in the shape of a full heart. My letters of mine were backwards and I was face to face with my reflection.
"Hey, Bloom, I'm Moolb, your reflection, you taking a trip down memory lane again? Why would that dreamy boy risk his life for you when only happen to fall of the sofa. You're not Princess, you're just a normie fairy nothing very special. You're boring and placid and do trashy chores. Look at him he's farsighted hasn't complimented you on your brilliant hair or clothes he cannot see your face. Those girls in your grade were right blonde boys don't let you survive the times. They were saving your neck, if you hook up with this Brandon you might as well consider yourself dead in 5 years."
"You're just a built up projection record library of all my fears from the past and the ones in the future I have yet to know or meet, dear Loom." I give my reflection an identity that's less confusing for me. "And I accept every word you utter, my lady. I do fear not being able to find a place where I feel deeply in my heart truly really alive, and I am very much afraid of the truth and the unknown."
