(A/N this chapter is a continuation of the most recent one, as I didn't get as much writing done as I'd meant to and there's lots of ideas swimming around my head that I thought should be added to it! Just thought I'd let you know, so you may want to re-read Lenses before reading this chapter. Enjoy!)

"Who was that on the phone?" Dan asked Phil, as it had sounded as if he had rejected social plans with the person on the other end of the call-something that Phil didn't usually do.

"Oh, uh, it was Louise. She was asking about making a video and-"

"It was Louise?"Dan interrupted,"why would you reject Louise? She's-"

"If you would let me finish!" Dan backed off. Phil continued," She was asking about making a video, and I had to say no because, if you didn't notice, there is a living breathing sim in the lounge and I thought that she might notice!"

Dan's eyes widened, it seemed that he too had forgotten about the existence of other people. The young girl that they had run into, she seemed to believe the lie, but could they really lie to their friends? Louise, especially, knew the two much too closely for them to be able to lie to her about such things.

"Shit, I didn't think about that. What are we gonna do? We can't lie to people forever!"Dan exclaimed, his worry quickly increasing.

"Dan, Dan, it's okay, we'll figure something out. Calm down, it'll be okay."reassured Phil, his voice calming and soothing.

Dan sat down, and Phil joined him, rubbing his back and telling him that everything would be okay. These moments often occurred in the Dan and Phil household when Dan would quickly begin to panic about small little details and his emotions would soar out of control. This is why he was glad to have Phil around, he was the best at helping with these things. As often as Dan had referred to himself as the "Teletubby sun", he knew deep inside that Phil really was his own ray of light in times of dark.

After taking lots of deep breaths, listening to Phil's gentle voice and breaking down in his arms for a while, Dan sat up and wiped his eyes. He thanked Phil, as he did every time something like this happened. If he didn't show his thanks, Dan knew that he would seem ungrateful and that was the last thing he'd ever want Phil to think of him.

"It's nothing, really. I'm just doing what has to be done." Phil would answer to every act of gratitude, every time.

"No, Phil, it's much more than that. You have no idea how much idea you help, do you?"

"Well, someone has to. You're very important Dan, I couldn't just sit there and watch you break down without someone to help you."

"But Phil..."

"Yeah Dan?"

"You didn't just help me, it's more than that. You saved me, Phil Lester."
