Eren began to wake up from his deep slumber, his eye lids struggled, but slowly opened. The first thing to catch his eyes were his legs, they were nothing but stubs, he attempted to grab them, but anything beyond his elbow did not move as his arms were stubs to.
His pulse was rising, but was stuck and did not go over 65.
"What the hell?!" Eren thought.
"Ahh yes! Your alive and well, hehe. I found some interesting things about your healing process, I had Serj be my Guinea pig. Took some regular human tissue and after playing around with them, I began to start the tests." Hanji said
"You played around with flesh....wait, did you do the same to him?!" Eren replied
"Somewhat....anyways I found out that your abnormalities are quite interesting, for example the steam that is produced by your body when you heal is because cells you body are being burnt for the nutrients in them to spread around where ever you are injured. Therefor healing you faster than that of a human.", Hanji replied.
"Not only that, but your cell have pockets within them, and the Dna within those cells have pockets that are not even full. You could accept the cells of someone else through chemical digestion, and if they are like you or the female titan then you can absorb their abilities. By testing out some ways to trick the human flesh into being like you, and attracting the cells of your abnormal skin, I discovered after a few projects that an occurrence will occur. That the hosts body will overheat but successfully change into what power its been fed." Said Hanji
"So basically you become what you eat, am I right?", Reiner interrupted. Eren turned hjs head and asked Reiner,"What are you doing here?"
"Checking on you since you are still our one true hope, you know I just remembered how surprised I am that this area is clear of Titans.
Moving along, rag doll....uh I mean Serj is in the old cabin on the hill with captain Levi and commander Erwin. They told me to inform you that they will be staying there and is where they will have plans now for future travels." Reiner said.
"Don't forget that we're moving in a few hours." Jean followed up, "Sorry to disturb your beauty sleep and small case of morning sickness but we need to start packing. The female titan was seen running past the Forest of Giant trees by a few water boys."
"Eren!" Mikasa and Armin shouted, running toward there friend laying in a bed of bloody blankets. The two friends embraced there friend, and stared at Hanji who they felt did something wrong.
"Eren, do you feel fine? Did she do anything strange than dissect you like a rat?" Mikasa asked.
"Now now, I didn't do anything that bad. He still has all his intestines and flesh still on him." Hannji grinned
Armin was about to question Hanji as well but before he could utter a word a runner came inside the tent. Informing everyone,"begin packing. Commander Erwin has demanded everyone to start riding as soon as the sun rises."
"Alright, lets go Jean. Gotta leave the kids alone." Reiner spat. "Go to hell..." Jean replied to Reiner while walking out with him into the dark night.
"I'll be right back, Mikasa please stay with Eren as a precaution. I need to have a word with Hanji..." Armin said before pulling Hanji out
Mikasa blushed because she knew what Armin was trying to accomplish.
But she was more than wrong, if she knew why Armin dragged Hanji out then she would be devastated and would refuse the plan Commander Erwin set up to destroy Annie for the deaths of many friends both noble, and in the military
