Chapter 18: Unexpected leave

Mikasa, And Eren were enjoying they're breakfest on a gloomy cold morning till Levi came with new orders to leave immediately.

Reports had come up that the squads sent out to clear a path had seen a 12-14 meter titan, appears female and matches the description of the female titan and had left the corpse to escape on foot.

~Mikasa's POV~

We had been given new orders to retrieve Annie, instead of waiting the next day, we had to leave early the final day of what most of the scouts called vacation.

"Damn i cant believe we to have leave in such short notice.". "Yea they cant do this." Said cadets amongst the crowd

Even after all that happened and for what some of us had done, they didn't promote any of us. We were all still privates, with an exception of some secret elites such as me and a secret meant to be hidden like Eren

"OKAY LISTEN UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Said Keith as he stood next to Levi, commander. Pixis, and commander Erwin. With an exception of Hanji and Serj in the back

"Okay listen up!!! We have all received news that The female titan other wise known as Cadet Annie Leonhardt has been spotted by one of the Recon squads that are to take out titans and clear a path. They gave us info, but they came back and most injured, dieing, or dead.

This is a very dangerous mission, so if any of you are willing to sacrifice your life, just like we did to reach the Shingashida District, stay."

I looked around and everyone and everything thing went bright, as shadow figures walked passed me. "Cowards!!" I thought, they joined and they don't even go on missions that is the one thing the Scouting legion doe-

"NOOO!!! WE WILL NOT BACK DOWN YET!!!"

A small percent of the new cadets leaving walked back and stood there ground proudly, then eventually a few more cadets stayed. But still a large amount left of the 397cadets, only 135or so stayed, but it still seemed like enough to show that there were some

brave and willing to die.

"Ok cadets!!! We'll be leaving in 2 hours!!!! Check your squads and then let's head off!!!!!!" Shouted Keith

~End of Mikasa's POV~

After the quick brief, all the survey corps members going on the mission had went either to the supply depot, say good by to loved ones, or to check who is in they're squads

I checked mine........

"Wait?!"

"Mikasa." Said a voice behind me....
