Chapter 7: keeping a promise

Eren's POV

I couldn't belive we forgot about as Sasha in the eating contest, I wouldn't want to go either but she got us tickets to go in and she is a friend and friends have to stick together. Especially during these times, when friends are what you must rely on and have them rely on you.

"Come on Eren i bet we could take a shorter route through the mini gifts shops next to the Market." Said Mikasa

We ran through and we had been blocked by a group of people watching a fight happen, i didn't really want to watch.

"Damn it, I've got an idea Mika.Maybe we could go through Illute's hunting shop and then circle back to the where Sasha and the contest is."

"Ok Let's go, wait whats Serj Doing with Jean." Said Mikasa

"Huh, i guess Jean is learning to play i guess. Wait should get them?" Said Mikasa

"Of course Mika, i mean they should at least be there for support."

"Fine." Said Mikasa pouting

We walked up towards the Instrument store and amazed to see Serj playing a cello with such beauty. He would use the bow, his fingers, and slap the strings making some strange yet interestingly beautiful sounds.

"Whoah color me impressed, your really goo..."

"Hey Jean come on Sasha and the food contest is gonna start, you could come if you want to Serj." Said Mikasa. Without hesitation, Serj grabbed the cello he was playing and took it to the man upfront, payed, then waited outside for everyone to come out with a serious expression in his eyes. Demanding we leave to go now.

"Um.....ok let's go." Said Jean as he walked outside then saying. "Hey Mikasa, you wanna walk with me?"said Jean

That Jean knows how to piss me off. I was gonna run up to him and....

"No, i think i would rather go with Eren."

Huh, she wants to go with me?

"Fine then, suit yourself." Said Jean with an aggressive look on his face

"Uuuuu.........um......maybe we should go Mikasa." I said with a surprised look.

We walked over to discover that it had already began. Sasha had already eaten three plates, and was #1 so far till a fat large man next to her began to catch up. He had gone through three......four........five plates and Sasha was about to finish her fourth plate

"YA REX, SHOW THAT SKANK WHO'S BOSS." Said a guy in the crowd who must've been a friend of the probably obese man.

"Go Sasha, show that fat ass who he's dealing with." Said Connie

"Come on Connie don't be like that." Said Krista

"Don't worry, besides they messed with Sasha and i think they had it coming if you ask me." Said Ymir without a care in the world.

"Whoah, this is kinda disturbing to see a small girl like Sasha eat in a contest against a large man like him."

"I think she'll be ok." Said Mikasa

"Hmmm Mikasa actually rooting for someone, usually she wouldn't give a single care." Said Armin

"Oh, Armin hi where were you this whole time?" Said Eren.
"Krista wanted me to come with her and Ymir, so i went with them to get a guys opinion on what clothes would look good on them." Said Armin
