Naglakad ako palabas ng village, buti na lang at unahan lang ang bahay namin hindi sa pinakadulo pa ng walang hanggan. Sa harap naman ng mahabang kalsadang pahalang na kadugtong ng kalye sa'min ay ang puregold na katabi ang national bookstore saka sunod ang McDonalds, sa tapat ng simbahan sa kaliwa naman ay ang school namin.
Saktong paglabas ko ng village sa'min nang magvibrate ang phone ko. Belle was calling. She ended the call as soon as I picked it up. Later I noticed that she had sent me a message with video attached. You can show to Elle and the others, she said. While I was walking, I watched the video that the girl who was blaming her put the thing into her bag without telling. While, Belle was busy enjoying watching the students through the canteen window. What the fuck is this girl's motives for doing that?
Hindi ko na namalayang patawid na pala ako ng pedestrian lane. Minsan talaga hindi ko maintindihan sarili ko. Naglalakad ako na wala sa sarili at magugulat na lang ako't naroroon na 'ko sa destinasyong pupuntahan ko. Lucky, hindi ako nasasagasaan. Siguro ganito talaga kapag 'di kasama si Belle.
Pumasok ako ng school saka dumeretso sa second building para maibigay ko agad yung USB at makauwi. Pagpasok ko pa lang ng building ay bumungad na agad sa'kin si Ericka na kanina pa ata naghihintay.
"Grabe ha, hinukay nyo pa ba sa lupa 'yang punyetang USB?" Pag-irap pa niya saka tumalikod at naglakad.
"Ay sorry, Ma'am ah."
Bigla siyang huminto't humarap sa'kin. "Nasaan si Belle?" Kunot noo niyang tanong.
"Something happened. Siya na lang siguro magkukwento sa'yo when she's okay na." Sagot ko. Tumango-tango naman siya.
"She's safe, right?" Pagtaas kilay pa niyang tinanong. I smiled and nodded in response.
Naglakad naman kami papuntang faculty na nasa second floor pa nang bigla kong maalala yung footage. "May group chats kayong puro BSED English, 'di ba?" Paghinto ko pa sa paglalakad saka naman huminto rin siya't humarap sa'kin.
"Yeah. Why?" Tanong niya. Abot tenga naman ang ngiti ko. Binuksan ko yung phone ko saka finorward yung video sakanya. She gave me a confused look.
"Don't tell me we're both thinking the same?" She asked with those excited eyes as she smirk.
"Well.." Mahinang aniya ko. She checked her phone and saw the video I just forwarded. I glance at her phone right away to see what she's going to do. She sent the video to their main group chat without thinking twice while smiling broadly. Although I am aware that sharing the video there is inappropriate, doesn't she deserve it?
Countless students had seen it and reacted as soon as she sent it. Aside from the wow or laugh reactions, some replies can really knock your confidence in the gutter. I bet I can say she really deserved it.
"Let's see her reaction hahahahahaha!" Biglang aniya niya kasabay ng tawa niyang akala mo mawawalan na ng hinga. Nagmadali naman siyang naglakad papunta sa faculty saka naman sinundan ko lang siya.
"We found it." She said as soon as she entered the room while holding the USB.
"Fortunately, nasa bag nga ni Belle.. unfortunately... uh.. we found something.. tignan niyo na lang sa G.C hehe!" Pahinto-hinto pa niyang sabi. Some of the students opened their phones, and it was likely seen by some of them.
"the fuck" Napalakas na bulong ni Elle. She raised her head and gave that girl a ferocious gaze, which I could clearly see. "Wow." she exclaimed with a grin.
"Anything to say?" She added as she raised her eyebrows.
"It's not-"
"Not what?" Tanong ni Fay na mukhang konti na lang ay masasabunutan na niya.
