You crouched impatiently behind a big, leaf covered bush, waiting for the scum to walk by.

As you thought about the complaints he had about Mitsuri, your grip tightened around the wooden handle of the knife you held. Your knuckles going bone white at how hard your gripped onto it. Clenching your teeth so much you thought you might crack a tooth, you immediately payed attention as you heard step coming your way.

That'd be him.

You peaked through the thick leaved bush, eyes snapping wide as you noticed him walking right in front of the bush you were hiding behind at that very second.

You smiled and snatched his ankle through the bush, not caring for the small scrapes the hard branches gave.

He yelled out as he dropped to the floor at the force of your pull.

"Oh shut up you ungrateful rat!" You growled, dragging his deeper and deeper into the dark and secluded wooded area.

He continued yelling for help, screaming pathetically like the rat he is. Flailing his arms as you dragged him by both of his legs, an amused smile on your lips.

You finally decided that this was far away enough, away from the village, no one would stumble apon this situation.

You dropped his legs, him immediately trying to stand and run. He got to his knees and tried to stand from that position, but before he could you kicked him in his side with a hard and hateful kick.

"You're too slow you rat!" You yelled, retrieving the knife from the inside of your kimonos belt.

"What the hell is wrong with you-" you cut off his sentence, pressing your sharpened knife to his throat. This caused his Adam's apple to Bob up and down as he swallowed thickly.

"You. You are what's wrong with me, scum." You whispered, pressing the knife further. "I-I'll do anything, please do-" with a deep slice, you silenced him, his throat now slit. You glared down at him as he desperately put his hands to his throat in attempt to stop the blood.

You almost laughed at the sounds of him choking on his own blood, the crimson liquid staining his hands, face and clothing. The liquid trailed down his chin, beginning at the corner of his mouth.

He died quickly, much to your displeasure. You'd hoped he went through choking on his own blood for a bit longer. But you were also happy to have gotren rid of him so quick.

His body fell to the floor with a thud, startling small nearby animals.

You were happy but dissappointed at the same time.

"Took you long enough, ungrateful little rodent." You spat. You used your foot to turn his face to the side. His dead, emptied of life eyes stared upwards, blood splattered on his face, the same blood staining his clothes and skin.

You scoffed with disgust, no, not because of the dead body, because it's hum and despite him being dead you still hate him with your entirety.

"Time to clean up.." you sighed.

Mitsuri payed back and fourth, he Fiancé hadent arrived and she was worried. He never canceled, and he was never late.

Her braided hair bounced on her back as she paced back and fourth, over and over. Her minty-green eyes blinking with worry, she nibbled on her finger nail and continued her panicked pace.

"I hope something hasnt gone wrong, maybe he got distracted or-" he soon to be ramble was inturuppted by a knock at the door. Her head immediately perked up and she quickly made her way to the door.

"I was so worried- Y/n!" She exclaimed, surprised.

"Hey, Mitsuri.." you said, looking down. "Y/n, I'm so sorry about that night, I get you are worried about me, but-" You gave her a sad look that made her pause her words. "I..is there something else wrong?" She asked, welcoming you in, you went and sat down with her at the table in the living room.

"Yes, uh...on the way here to apologize to you, I was informed of your Fiancé passing away.." Mitsuri paled at your words, her eyes widening as she sicks there in shock. "Apparently, he was found in the woods, he was..mutilated and was hardly recognizable. They only knew it was him because of his glasses that were still in tact." You looked at her and gave an apologetic expression.

"Oh.." she whispered, looking down at her lap, tears welling up in her eyes. "Mitsuri, I'm so sorry.." she let out a small cry, her formed tears fell and trailed down her pale cheeks. Her tears left a shining trail down her cheeks, reflecting in the natural light of the beautiful day.

"Hey, come here," You spread your arms, giving her welcome to lay in your arms. She wept harder and lunges at you. Moving from her seat to your arms, she wrapped her arms around your neck and cried into your shoulder.

Her wet tears seeped through your clothing. Wrapping your arm around her waist and using the other to rub her upper back, you pulled her closer to yourself and smiled happily.

She's finally in your arms like she's supposed to be.

Her cried kept shaking her body, it broke your heart to listen to her cries, but it also bothered you that she was crying for the scum.

"Don't worry, Mitsuri." You cooed, rubbing her back gently, you knew that's what she needed right now.

Gentle.

"I'm here for you."
