Mitsuri and Y/n walked back, happily holding hands. Mitsuri still squeaked out here and there. Still stunned she was able to have someone like Y/n love her back.

Mitsuri paused, "Here I'll walk you back to your estate! Would you like that?" She asked, blushing. She scratched the back of her head and looked away from y/n. As y/n was about to accept her offer a growl came from a bush In the forest. Didn't sound human.

Both of their eyes widened, Mitsuri reached for her weapon. But realization hit her like a train. She didn't bring her nichirin blade

Y/n began to shake. Mitsuri turned to face her. "D-don't worry! I-i won't let anything happen to you!" She said turning back to where the noise came from. Mitsuri was angry now.

' our first night together and a demon just had to interrupt!? ' Mitsuri thought, and huffed.

Another growl. "OH JUST SHOW YOURSELF!" Mitsuri yelled and pointed at the bush. She heard herself yell. Literally inviting the demon to come out. She slapped her hand on her mouth. A rustle came from the bush. Causing them both to jump. And then they saw something white come out.

Out slithered Kaburamaru.

"Kaburamaru?" Y/n questioned, peeking from behind Mitsuri. Mitsuri didn't calm however, and yelped. "Ohh nooo!" She wailed "But I haven't hurt her! WHY ARE YOU AFTER ME!?" Mitsuri wailed grabbing onto Y/n. "Seriously??" Y/n and Mitsuri heard someone question behind you both. It caught Mitsuri off guard, causing her to jump, and grip onto Y/n's haori tighter.

"Obanai?!" Y/n yelled. Kaburamaru slithered behind the couple to Obanai. "You scared the crap outta us!" Y/n scolded Obanai, and hugged Mitsuri In attempt to calm her down. Mitsuri hugged y/n back wrapping her arms around her waist and snuggling her face into y/n's neck. Leaving y/n a blushing mess.

"If I was a demon what would you have done? Is that how you intend to protect her? Panicking and yelling?" He poked Mitsuri's head. "W-well-i...I tried my best!" She looked at Obanai, still holding onto Y/n. "You-" y/n cut Obanai off and glared at him, causing a shiver to go down his spine. Obanai made the wise decision to shake that part of the conversation off. "You asked to walk her to her estate. I'm not stupid. I know what you're thinking Kanroji." Obanai said coldly.

Y/n and Mitsuri blushed. "H-hey! I have no thoughts of t-that!" Mitsuri yelled and shook her head. "OBANAI." y/n yelled and sent another glare at the poor serpent pillar. Mitsuri hid her face in
y/n's neck again. "Obanai If you'd please excuse us, we'll be walking to my estate now if you don't mind." Y/n raised an eyebrow, questioning Obanai. He crossed his arms and let out a low growl, a clear sign of him giving up.

"No.I dont have a problem." He looked away, not wanting to see y/n's grinning face. "Very well, we'll take our leave now!" Y/n smiled and lightly nudged Mitsuri.

And with that they walked to y/n's estate
