*Knock, knock* was the sound that woke me up from my sleep. I turned around looking at the door and in walked New. I turned back to the bed like I didn't see anyone.
"Good morning, I hope you had a good night sleep. I am going to enroll you at Adulyadej School of Magic which as you should know is a private school for the best of the best. This is your father and mine Alma Matta so I believe that he would love for you to go there. Tomorrow will be your first day so relax today and prepare for your first day," he said.
I didn't say anything. A few minutes later, he closed the door and left the room. I just laid in bed all morning. I got up to go to the kitchen and the bathroom. I kept the necklace on me the whole time in order for me to remain in the memories they left behind for me. I was not ready to take the necklace off.
Next Morning
"Sanjay, I need you to get up and start getting ready for school. I know you are dealing with something but this is your last year in high school," I heard New said.
I dragged myself up and prepared for school. I remembered everything my parent taught me so I knew I had to lie and manipulate everyone unto believing what I want them to while I complete my investigation of my parents' death. I went to the kitchen and only got an apple from the fridge. I was not really hungry. New was leaving to go to work as well so he drove me to school. I stepped out the car and put on my favorite hoodie on because I didn't want anyone to see or talk to me.
As I walked, I saw all the other students laughing, giggling and just having a jolly good time. They are stuck in the little bubble that the ministry of magic created for them and they don't know that they are puppets. It was not my place to tell them truth. I was here to survive and that was it. I put my head down and started walking toward the first class which from my class schedule was Advance Atmokinesis which was a class that my dad taught me a few years back when I started home schooling with my mom. Out of nowhere someone bump me from the back causing me to drop my bag on the floor. I looked up and before me was this black hair, fair skin and slim girl standing next to who I could only guess to be her boyfriend. I didn't say nothing to her even though I know she was the one that caused me to drop my stuff. As I was about to start to pick up my stuff from the floor, I heard the girl said, "freak" as she started to walk with that guy. Usually, I am not bothered by other people but I was not in the mood.
"Ventus," I said while looking at the girl skirt. All of a sudden, a gust of wind came out of nowhere and the girl's skirt was being blown around showing her panties with heart on them. She tried to hold her skirt down using her hands but the wind was too strong.
"Prohibere" I whispered to stop the wind.
She dropped to the floor embarrassed and upset. I got all my stuff together and as I walked pass by her, I said, "I love your underwear, very cute, freak." I started laughing. I heard her say something but I was not listening because it was just funny.
I walked into the class and went all the way to the back of the class. I didn't want to see or talk to anyone. The teacher named Luna came and had me introduce myself. I did as a I was told and I tried to quickly go back to my seat. As I was walking, I saw the girl from this morning and started to giggle. She saw me giggle and got upset.
"Class, as you all know this is an advance placement class which only a few takes. We are going to learn weather manipulation and weather control. This kind of magic is a bit tricky so it usually requires at least two people to cast. This is why the group project will be a mastery of any weather spell that you want. We will be grouped in two with someone you don't know and you will have to get to know the person in order to get on the same wave link with the person to properly cast the spell," the teacher started saying.
