27. Chaos Rising

After seeing him awake, I couldn't help and launched myself onto him. I hugged him so tightly that he was having trouble in breathing, 

"Ruth, I cannot breath." 

He said, so I backed up, "I am sorry." I said. Then he held my face in his hand and inspected my forehead. 

"What happened? Did someone attacked you?" 

Isaac asked and his eyes started to glow, I told him that I was in a car accident and then before he could say anything else, Derek asked him, which girl was he talking about, and Isaac informed us that a girl saved him and brought him to hospital and she might know what is happening, so it is important to find her. Derek said that he would look into it, meanwhile Isaac needed to rest a little. After that Derek said that he was going to find that girl, so I suggested that Isaac could come with me to my place as there at least someone could look after him.

As we went inside Dad was in the kitchen and after hearing us he came out but was surprised to see Isaac. 

"Isaac, did they discharge you already?"

He asked, 

"Yes, sir. The injuries were not that serious so they let me go." 

Dad hummed and said, 

"Well then it's a good thing you're here. Come on, I making some pancakes for guys so that you get energy and you get better soon and maybe you remember what happened that night." 

I smiled and all three of us went in the kitchen, as Isaac and I sat down Stiles informed us that Heather, his childhood friend just invited me and him to her birthday party. Stiles then looked at me for an answer, "Stiles you seriously think I will go?" I asked and he shrugged, 

"Well, you can bring him with you. Or hear me out, she has lot of hot friends. Way hotter." 

"Are you out of your mind." I said and threw a spoon on him, 

"Guys enough." 

Dad said and as Stiles tried to say something else Dad cut him off and said, 

"Stiles don't annoy your sister. She is happy staying at home with her friend. You can go if you want but it's school night so come back at appropriate time. Now no further discussion on this." 

Stiles then muttered that he would take Scott and got out of the kitchen to get ready, while Dad gave Isaac and me his famous chocolate pancakes. After eating, Dad said that he was here for sometime and was going to watch movie, so if we want we can join him or we could go and do our own thing. Before I could say something Isaac said, that he would love to watch a movie, so Isaac and I prepared some popcorns while Dad selected a movie. 

By the interval, Dad fell asleep on the couch so I covered him with a blanket and Isaac and I moved to my room. As soon as I shut the door behind me, Isaac caged me there and asked, 

"Hey, so I have heard that while I was in hospital you stayed with me the whole time and even cried a lot. Why?" 

"What do you mean why, you are friend." 

"Are you sure it was because of that only?" 

He asked and that question took me by surprise and before I could answer him my phone started to ring he backed up and I saw it was Allison. "Hey Ally. What's up?" I asked 

"Were you jogging, because you sound out of breath."

She asked. Isaac laughed behind me while I hit him, "No, I was in my room. What happened?"
