12. Formality

The next day we decided to go to Scott's place to check on him and when we arrived there he told us that he got there just before us, and last night he and Derek were fighting as Derek was planning on killing Jackson but just as they started Argents attacked and Derek saved Scott and he was captured by Argents. Scott also told us that he was also shot but Dr. Deaton treated him but Peter got there and threatened to hurt Allison and to make sure that Allison was okay, he wanted to call her but he couldn't find his phone, so currently Stiles was sitting on a chair and I was laying in Scott's bed as he frantically moved all over his room in order to find his phone.

"So you lost your phone. Why don't you just get a new one?"

Stiles asked Scott, to which Scott gave him a look and told him that he couldn't afford a new one as he was not as rich as me, to this I just shrugged proudly. Then Scott started again that, he couldn't do all this alone, he needed to find Derek. Stiles took a offence to this as usual and told Scott that he was not alone and he had us, which was true and also that Derek might be dead as he walked in the gunfire, which I wished wasn't true, After what Derek did, hurt might be okay but I hoped that he was alive. Then Scott confirmed that he wasn't dead as it was Argent's plan to use him to get to the Alpha. After this Stiles again whined about not getting in the middle of all that and let Argents do whatever they are planning. Scott got extremely angry by Stiles by that point so he yelled at him that it won't solve our problems if Peter went after Allison to find Derek, and Scott won't be able to protect Allison on his own, so he needed to find Derek. Scott was pretty worked up, so I forced Scott to sit down beside me, but then Stiles again started about how Derek tried to kill Jackson last night and he is the bad guy, so I looked at him angrily and he finally shut up.  Scott then again argued that Derek wasn't actually planning on killing Jackson, so Scott had to save Derek, which led to another whine from Stiles that at least Scott could think about letting Derek die, for him and it made me laugh a little. Then Scott stopped and looked at the window and when we asked he told that Melissa just got home. Scott had pained expression so I asked if she was okay, and he told us that she was crying. I could tell that he was about to cry so I sat beside him and hugged him, meanwhile Stiles tried to reason with Scott that he can't protect everyone, at this Scott just looked at Stiles insanely determined and said, 

"I have to."

The next day when we got to the school Stiles told me that Scott was informed by Coach that he wasn't allowed to attend the Formal as he was failing some class, because of that he asked Jackson to accompany Allison for the dance, so that she remains safe but Jackson refused, so Scott used his wolf form to get the work done. Honestly I feel like Scott is being a little dramatic with the whole thing, I mean Peter have enough brain to realize that if he even hurt one hair on Allison's head that whole Argent clan will go after him. But even after all that Scott wasn't satisfied and decided to go to the Formal completely unprepared, with help of Stiles, he asked for my help too but the whole thing was just too bizarre for me and I had plans with the girls to go shopping so I withdrew my name. 

After school, Allison, Lydia and I went to the mall for shopping. Lydia and I were taking Allison to our favorite shop but she seemed little too tense so Lydia tried talking to her but she didn't want to share the details about her and Scott to her so she reassured Lydia that everything was fine with her. Lydia was smart and she knew that something was off so in order to bring a little comfort to Allison she said, 

"Have you ever heard of the saying , 'Never frown. Someone could be falling in love with your smile.' So for god's sake smile. I am even buying you a dress."
