28. Fireflies

After hearing everything Isaac said that he would leave right away, and I asked him to pick me up in the way but he refused so I reminded him that first I have been training with Mr. Argent all summer, second my bestfriends life was on the line, whether he picks me up or not, I am going to be there. He sighed and agreed to pick me up. Stiles was also saying that he will go with us but I reminded him that was completely defenseless against Boyd and the other wolf, at least I had some weapons and 4 months of training on how to use them. After a long argument he agreed and went home and Isaac also got there to pick me. As soon as we reached the bank we saw the hole in the wall and we figured that they were out, so Isaac said that he will try to follow their path by smell. 

Isaac then took us to the woods, there as we were searching for Derek and Scott, he told me he heard a howl, so we ran in that direction and saw a girl standing there with the werewolf who was with Boyd. Isaac attacked her while I took that girl aside and told her to run from here as fast as she could. She was about to say something but then I heard a loud thud so I again told her to get out from here and went back to where Isaac and the other werewolf was. I saw that she had thrown Isaac on a tree so I started shooting her, but it didn't made her slow rather it made her angry and as she was about to attack me Scott jumped from behind me on her. Soon Derek also got there. I helped Isaac to get up and we all circled around her and started attacking her. She then ran away from there and I notice the girl from earlier was still there, so while Isaac and Derek followed the wolf, I went to her and Scott followed. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked. She didn't say anything, so I reminded her, "Hey, I told you get out of here. It's not safe. Please go as fast as you can." After that Scott and I followed Isaac and Derek. 

After a while we lost the new wolf but I got call from Stiles saying that Lydia had found a dead body in the community pool and he thinks it's Boyd and the new wolf. "Sty, are you sure it's them?" I asked. 

"Yeah, throat ripped out, blood everywhere. It's like the freaking Shining over here. If two little twin girls come out of the woods, start asking me to play with them forever and ever, I am not gonna be surprised." 

 Stiles said, then Scott asked him to look closer at the body to make sure it was them, Stiles asked him who else was going around ripping throats out, but Scott still was asked him to do that, Stiles said that he would look again and call me back if he notice something. After that I said, "This doesn't make any sense. The public pool is all the way on the other side of the woods. You guys haven't tracked them anywhere near there." 

"Ruth, they killed someone." 

Scott said, I nodded, but then Derek asked that how were they moving so fast and Scott repeated himself that they killed an innocent kid. "It's our fault." I said but then Derek looked at me and said that it was his fault. Then Scott said that we needed help and Derek reminded Scott that Isaac and I were here now, but Scott said that he meant real help and Isaac and I both glared at Scott, and he clarified that they were to fast for all of us, too strong, too rabid. Derek said that we will catch them and Isaac asked him what would happen then, were we to just hold them down till sun comes up. Derek said that maybe it would be easier to just kill them, and Scott and I both protested that killing them wasn't the right thing to do. But then Isaac asked that what if it was the only thing to do, he then asked that if we can't catch them, what else do we do, and Scott said that we could find someone who knows what they are doing and I understood who he was talking about but then Derek asked who Scott was talking about and I said, "Someone who knows how to hunt werewolves." Then I called Allison asking about Mr. Argent and she told me that he was in supermarket, so we all left for the market. 

On the way, Derek told us that the other female werewolf was Cora, his younger sister. "Didn't she died in the fire?" I asked him and he said that was what he thought for many years. After we reached there, we saw Mr. Argent standing by his car, Scott insisted that he would go and talk to him first and if he still doesn't agree then he would call me. As Scott was talking to Mr. Argent, Derek, Isaac and I were in the car waiting for him. We all were sitting quietly but then Isaac asked us,
