11. Co-Captain

After we got out of the hospital we tried to call Scott several times but he wasn't answering his phone so we decided to go to school, but when we couldn't find him there, we went to his home. When we reached there Scott was sitting on his bed with only a towel wrapped around his waist. Stiles ran to him and started telling him about Peter being the Alpha but Scott already knew that and he told us that Peter and Derek came to see him after the match and Derek had teamed up with Peter now and Peter also did something to his neck because of which he was able to see some of Peter's past like him in the burning house. After sometime, I decided to go home and rest as I had to go shopping with the girls for winter formal.

Next day I woke up by Allison's call, she told me that she was coming to pick me up in twenty minutes, so I got up and quickly got ready, and by the time I was ready I heard Allison's car in the driveway so I said good bye to Dad and left. 

After I got in the car I looked Allison she looked stressed so I asked her what the matter was. She pulled aside the car and then looked at me with tears in her eyes and asked, 

"I heard the Scott and Lydia made out in the Coach's office. Is it true?"

"Oh," was all that came out of my mouth at that time. I was in a turmoil, it was the most difficult situation I have been in, and after a lot of thinking I decided to tell Allison the truth, because it was not something that could stay hidden forever and also it will be better if she hears it from me because almost everyone else in the school thinks that they had sex, and it is not true and it will be more heartbreaking for Allison. So, I finally gathered up some courage and said, "Yeah, it is true." Then I saw tears coming from Allison's eyes, 

"So, it means Scott has moved on from me?" 

Allison asked, and I held her hand and said, "No, it's quite the opposite actually. After the breakup Scott was living in delusion that you guys had only taken break and that too mutually, but that day when Scott saw you in chemistry he realized that he was wrong and according to him he had lost you. He even had a panic attack that day after this realization. So, what happened between him and Lydia doesn't mean anything to him, he was just going through something very difficult and Lydia was also going thorough something as she believed after that night in school that Jackson might have a thing for you. And this being said, I want you to know that I am not justifying their actions to you or asking you to forgive them, I am just telling you what actually happened that day and let me tell you something, I have known Scott for quite some years now and he has of course dated some girls before you, but I have never seen him so in love before. Ever. He loves you a lot. And Lydia and Scott could never happen as Sty has crush on Lydia since second grade, Scott could never do that to Sty,"

"Thanks a lot Rue, for being honest with me, it means a lot to me, because you see, I cannot trust anyone right now, not even my family as I know everyone hiding something in order to protect me and honestly I am sick of it, so thank you."

Allison said and I just smiled and we went to pick Lydia up. 

After picking up Lydia Allison told us that she needed to run some errand before going to shopping, and for that errand she took us to the woods.

"Allison when you said you needed to stop for an errand before we went shopping, a five-mile hike in the woods was not what I was expecting. "
