I was completely desolated. I was done with life. I sat in the stairs to the palace, letting the cold March night rain soak me. I couldn't cry anymore, I couldn't feel anything at all. The doors opened and Cindy wrapped a towel around me.
"Carlos, sweetie you're gonna get a cold."
"I don't care. I want to die."
"Honey, don't say that. Now come on let me take you to your room. Take a warm bath, I'll prepare you some tea."
"Thank you." I answered.
I did as she told, I took a warm bubble bath. Sinking under the water and staying there. The restroom was dimly lit by a candle. The rain slowed down, to a strong shower. No thunder or lighting. Just droplets hitting the window. I got out of the bathtub. The clock read, 11:48 PM. The tea was on a tray in the counter, but I was tired and I wanted to sleep. That was all I wanted to do, forever.
