I came home to great news, my father is running for mayor of the Third Town.

"I didn't know the workers could run." I said surprised.

"Every single citizen of the New Canada Colony can run, worker or not." my grandfather pointed.

Excited, I shouted, "I have to tell someone!"

I biked to my cousin, Bryan's house. He is a human. I feel bad for him because he always looks at us, astonished, when we practice our powers. I always share one power with him so he can feel closer to us, and he enjoys it like if he would never get the chance.

I enter Bryan's room and greet him, " What's up, man?"

    "Hey," he answers

" I have great news to tell you!...my dad is running for mayor of the Third Town!" I shout

"Really! Tell your dad I said that he is going to win, okay" he remarked

"I know man, I feel so proud!" I said

I left Bryan's place at 9 and when I got home my father was already asleep. I went to my room and prayed that my father would win, he could change things for all of us slaves of our own land.
