Sooo this was one of the few Au that's I have but done nothing  so I'd decided to pull this Au out of the cupboard. Don't we love the cabinet? It's full of beautiful ideas that I'd haven't used yet and use it to make my life easier, soooooo it's time for some trigger warnings that aer in this Chapter lmao-mentions of the abuse/shown abuse and self-deprecating thoughts/self-harm, Somewhat graphic violence, PTSD mentions Panic attacks, Discrimination, Mental illness mentions/shown, Drug talk and Damian being himself, Mentions of possible past self-harm. Just skip paragraphs 2-4 if you don't want to read it.

Time for a disclaimers:Neither belong to me. I am simply borrowing the characters for fun and writing practice because I'd need to some for getting my original book written in time for the end of next year.

Just a little note, I do eventually plan on having some crossovers from other franchises once we get into UA so i'll be added once we get to that part of the story.

Also if you see () in the story it's the character thinking so you know what that is happening just thought I'd give you that information and the only things that'll be mine are the OC's, and most of the story's plot is mine, but we do eventually get into MHA plot for sometimes also because of my dyslexia so plz tell me if and then I'll write the words wrong so it's easier for everyone to read I'd appreciate it but whatever the show must go on)) *¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸**¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸

Midoriya had once been asked why birds fly. She hadn't really understood the question at the time, mainly due to being six years old at the time, but it had been a memory that came back to her on occasion, probably once or twice a year. It might have stuck in her mind more since it had been the last time her mom had gone to a family gathering after she'd been registered as Quirkless. It had ended with a couple of broken windows, swearing through the entire household, and her mom's tears, which lasted more than a couple days before declaring the rest of the family would be cut off from visiting her precious little baby. Izuku had blushed pretty fiercely at how fired up her mom had gotten, but that was mostly because she wasn't worth the effort.

The reason the question had come back to mind today was an epiphany of sorts for Midoriya. She'd heard a few answers before, mainly on online forums.

'Birds fly because they can.'

'Birds fly because it is in their nature to do so.'

'Birds fly in order to migrate to the proper climate as the seasons change.'

Some of these answers had resonated a bit more for Izuku, but they'd never felt like the definitive answer. Today, however, she'd finally figured it out, while training with All Might. It was actually really simple, once the realization had hit her.

'Birds fly because the ground is painful.'

That realization being her, falling off the fence, for the seventh time today. "Dangit! I thought I had it that time!"

"You're getting better!" She could hear Yagi shouting from the other side. "Last week, you only made it ten feet before falling off the thing! That must have been thirty or fourty feet you just walked, young Midoriya!" She grimaced as she stretched the sore muscles upon getting off the sand, shaking her legs to get rid of stray sand particles. This had been a rather recent addition to the training regiment, admittedly, having been implemented a few weeks ago, but progress was a bit slow, mainly because she had to move slow, otherwise she'd immediately flop into the dunes on either side of the brick structure, although she'd gladly take that over pavement or dirt.
