Sooo this was one of the few Au that's I have but done nothing so I'd decided to pull this Au out of the cupboard. Don't we love the cabinet? It's full of beautiful ideas that I'd haven't used yet and use it to make my life easier, soooooo it's time for some trigger warnings that aer in this Chapter lmao-mentions of the abuse/shown abuse and self-deprecating thoughts/self-harm, Somewhat graphic violence, PTSD mentions Panic attacks, Discrimination, Mental illness mentions/shown, Drug talk and Damian being himself, Mentions of possible past self-harm. Just skip paragraphs 2-4 if you don't want to read it.

Time for a disclaimers:Neither belong to me. I am simply borrowing the characters for fun and writing practice because I'd need to some for getting my original book written in time for the end of next year.

Just a little note, I do eventually plan on having some crossovers from other franchises once we get into UA so i'll be added once we get to that part of the story.

Additional Note! From this point forwards, Midoriya's dead name will be addressed with a strikethrough, as you can't exactly avoid dead naming, especially with people who knew her before she was confident enough to be identified as a girl, or are unaware of said identity. I figure it is more accurate to real life than just censoring it with a * symbol or the like, but if you disagree, please let me know, and I will consider changing that.

I always felt it a waste of story to skip the week between the exam and the results, so please understand me not doing the same here. Development of a story is so important to character arcs, and I feel like a lot could have happened before Midoriya ever touches UA's classrooms.

Also if you see () in the story it's the character thinking so you know what that is happening just thought I'd give you that information and the only things that'll be mine are the OC's, and most of the story's plot is mine, but we do eventually get into MHA  plot for sometimes also because of my dyslexia so plz tell me if and then I'll write the words wrong so it's easier for everyone to read I'd appreciate it but whatever the show must go on)) *¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸**¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸ପଓ*¨*•.¸¸

Zu wasn't exactly the most experienced person when it came to having friends, she'd be the first to admit that. Before today, she had Kirishima as a friend, and Toyoda as a tentative 'acquaintance', or business partner, or whatever they considered her. She guessed Kacchan counted too, but that wasn't really a normal friendship she could apply experience from to her new friends. At least, she hoped that wasn't the truth of the matter. Kacchan was a painful friend to have.

That being said, Tooru definitely seemed a lot more touchy as a friend than Zu had expected. She knew some people liked contact more than her, Zu'd seen people hanging out in public or at her middle school after all. It was another thing, however, to have Tooru's hand in her own hand, hanging off her back, other hand on her shoulder(on her shoulder the shoulder is burning get off getoffgetoffGETOFFTHESHOULDER- ). She swallowed her panic, her emotions, and her fears. The panic attack could be saved for when she got home(she thought she'd been getting better at pushing them down). "Hey, Tooru-san, you're a bit close for a friend, wouldn't you agree?"

"Ah," Tooru acknowledged, pulling his hand off the shoulder thank GOD before raising the glove to where Zu imagined their head to be. "It's just a habit I've picked up over the years. My mind tends to wander when I'm walking out and about, and if I'm not holding onto whoever I'm walking with, we tend to get separated." They sighed with their school outfit sagging, as if releasing some sort of tension. "The security at the mall had my parents' personal phone on speed dial for that reason growing up. It'd be pretty embarrassing to admit, but they were right to do so, since I only stopped that habit recently."
