Saved by the Dark

Pt. 1

Success. That's what Kylo Ren and his knights had accomplished on Jedha. They had acquired a relic that Snoke was after. No words were exchanged, they just took it without question even if it resulted with corpses, which it did. No one knew what it was for. Just a little red crystal. Kylo wanted to ask questions but knew better to stand down.

They have retrieved Snoke's prize, now it was time to head back. They had cleverly hid the ship in the scene if part of the planet. They didn't want it to be noticed by the locals or scalpers.

As they started to walk back to their ship, they walked in the forest to be unseen. This was a planet that was strong in the force and could heighten force senses if properly trained.

There was a small road through the forest so they wouldn't have to go through plants and shrubbery.

Kylo sensed a force presence quickly approaching. He ignited his saber and kept on, ready for any sudden attacks.

All of a sudden, Kylo and his knight's experienced a strong headache. It obviously was an awakening. A strong one too that wasn't controlled.

They had passed some old runes that were left by the Empire. Kylo Ren hoped to leave his mark just like his grandfather had done.

As the walk continued, running footsteps could be faintly heard and the destruction of foliage. Something was running their way. They thought it could be a Nextu or something worse.

The force headache hit them again, this time bringing them all to their knees. This was no joking matter. Whatever it is was certainly strong and quite obvious it had no control.

Plant and shrubbery decimation was now very apparent that something their way. All of them got ready for a fight, instead a girl  tripped and fell onto the road. Judging by her clothing and collar, she was a slave, but THIS was where all that force was coming from! It had just woken up and it was raw, untrained power.

Two men were chasing her and one fired a blast at the poor girl as Kylo froze it. Kylo gave his group a nod to take care of those men. They did as they were told and horrifying screams and begging was heard.

Kylo then looked at the girl. She scooted away some more from him. ''I am not going to harm you,'' he said through his modulated voice.

The knights returned with blood soaked weapons and blood splatters on their armor. This wasn't making things look better for the frightened girl, so Kylo made her go unconscious.

He scooped her up in his arm's and he and his knights made it back to the ship. Snoke will be very pleased to have another force user. Especially one this powerful. There must be a hidden ability locked within her.

The red crystal was now glowing very brightly around her. He didn't get it nor understand. How could a slave girl possess this much power and why is it stirring just now?

Something to think about on the way back to the Finalizer. Kylo laid the unconscious girl on one of the benches. His master would be very happy that he came back with a force user and his prize. Kylo quickly scanned her mind. No parents and lived a life being someone's property.

As the ship took off, one of the knights asked if she had a name. Kylo just said one word. ''Aalya.''
