Saved by the Dark

Pt. 50

A battle plan had to be drawn up on how they were going to take care of the outside force and then the inside. Kylo being alive was most paramount. They did not want to bring back a body.

It was decided that the Stormtroopers would go in first and take out the rooftop gang members. Then a second wave would take out the ones on the ground. Since Aalya was the only force sensitive, she would go in after.

Aalya did not want to wait any longer to do this. She did not like being left in the dark. Actually, if she reached her final level, everyone would be burnt to ash and there would be no need to waste Stormtroopers. She expressed the idea to Phasma who was real hesitant on the idea, but as another woman she had seen Aalya's ''emotions.'' It may work.

She stepped out and started to walk towards to the compound. Three Stormtroopers were ordered to go with her just in case. As she approached, they all aimed their weapons at her. She wanted to get to Kylo as quickly as possible, so talking wasn't a choice. The fire inside was summoned. As it grew there were some ''Who are you's?''

When she looked up at them, her eye's were nothing but pure fire. Filled with fear they cocked and readied their weapons. As Aalya let out this beyond terrifying deep shriek, they fired. Both of her arms were incased in fire like wings of a Phoenix. She brought her arms together, and a wave of heat and fire vaporized the blasts. No one on both sides had EVER seen anything like this before!

Aalya then began to levitate off the ground and then used the last of her power and ended up turning into an actual Phoenix bird! A lot of people were in aw of what just transpired. The gang member came back to realization and began to fire. Although they hit, the blasts had zero effect. Aalya let out a fire blast for the roof crew. It was just as deadly as dragon's fire and turned them to ash. The bottom crew received the same fate. Everything was clear as all the Stormtroopers went inside.

Drained, Aalya turned back into human figure and returned to the ground. Phasma came running back out to see if she was alright and to report news. ''We found the Supreme Leader,'' she said. After hearing that, Aalya stood up and ran inside. She ended up taking some cold and dark staircases. At the bottom, near the end was a cell with a wooden door with a bared window.

No one could get in since the lock was retinal scan. Aalya took out her lightsaber and slashed it a couple times and then kicked the door until it fell from the hinges.

When Aalya stepped inside, the floor was all dirt. The room itself was dark and cold. A few more steps and a figure came into view. She started to run and behold there was Kylo barely alive. He did receive a blaster shot to the back that was clearly infected. He was cuffed behind his back with force blocking cuffs and had a force blocking collar on too. His feet were chained to the wall as well. Aalya ordered the Stormtroopers to start cutting and removing.

Aalya went to the other side to find Kylo's hair in his face and passed out on the ground. His clothes were torn and worn, probably from the fight and these horrible conditions. She cleared the hair from his face and tried to wake him. Once he was freed, she could see internally. He was alive, but barely. Aalya became emotional and teary again. ''Get a medical capsule and HURRY!'' she shouted. Seeing what she was capable of, no one hesitated. She then sat down at the wall and pulled him up to her. Aalya held onto him for dear life resting her head on top of his.

Slowly, Kylo felt a warmth that he knew only belonged to Aalya. He coughed a few times, showing life, but did not have enough strength to raise his head. I read he pressed his body into Aalya's the best he could for warmth. Aalya held his hand which still had the glove, but ripped off fingertips. ''I was hoping to be around my babies againnn......'' he said weakly and passed out again. Aalya was confused. This atmosphere must be messing with his mind.

She continued to rub his head until the capsule arrived. It had only been three or four days, but the horrible effects of confinement and neglect were very obvious. Being held in these horrible conditions would definitely cause this. Plus he had been starved. His body had begun surviving of his body tissue, so he grew a little thin. Aalya remembered in her slave quarters that things were similar, but not this barbaric.

Finally, Stormtroopers arrived with the medical capsule. It took three troopers to get Kylo's long body on there. Immediately, he was given oxygen to help things a little.. As they left, Aalya walked next to Kylo. The light outside revealed more unfortunate things. Kylo's skin was almost white, his lips cracked, multiple little cuts and scrapes, and how bad and gruesome the infected blast shot was. She had decided to remove his gloves since they were torn anyway. This way when she held his hand, he could feel her warmth and always know she was there.

As they walked out, Aalya summoned a Stormtrooper over. ''Give that man a box of ten thousand credits.'' He gave her a nod and walked off. They passed the man as they walked by. Aalya placed her hand on the man's shoulder. ''I sent a Stormtrooper to retrieve your reward, so stay put,'' she told him. He gave her a nod and thanked her. ''No, thank you,'' Aalya countered.

They made it to the vast field and then the ship. Kylo was rushed on immediately and then was rushed into the medical cabin as Aalya heard the door lock. Everyone was on board and the ship lifted up and went into space. The captain placed it on hyperdrive to shorten up the trip. Everyone could unwind and relax now. Although Aalya could not speak with Kylo, she could sense and feel his presence.
