Saved by the Dark

Pt. 5

Aalya was awakened from sleep by Kylo's disturbance in the force. She got up and quietly walked in the little joining hallway. She opened the door and saw a figure thrashing and whimpering under the blankets.

She approached him slowly. For the first time she saw his face. She thought it would be an old monster, but it was the complete opposite! He looked so gorgeous as he slept. Aalya quietly sat on the bed and placed her hand on the side of his head. A light blue glow appeared and disappeared. A small smile then appeared on his face.

Aalya then quietly got up and left through the conjoining hallway, quietly. She climbed back into bed smiling. She had secretly seen her master's face and gave him some peace. She fell back asleep pulling the bankers over her head.

Both ended up sleeping in. Stormtroopers ended up unlocking their doors to see if they were alright. Just in deep sleeps. They woke when the scent of breakfast hit their noses. Serving droids had left the fresh breakfast food on their tables. Pancakes. Aalya had never had nor seen them, so she had to ask about them.

It took her a little bit to learn to properly. She  had a week to get used to her surroundings before she began training. She got dressed and went out. She didn't know anyone except for Kylo, she tried to change that, but everyone snubbed her.

She wandered down a few halls and heard loud grunting and shouts. Kylo was dodging shots from a chrome stormtrooper. They both tried to land blows on each other. They moved perfect, like a dance. Both stopped when they saw her. ''Phasma, this is going to be my apprentice,'' Kylo's modulated voice said. ''So this is the one with the new hidden ability, the Supreme Leader will be overjoyed when it's unlocked,'' she said. ''It would be an honor to test my ability against it one day,'' she added. Aalya didn't know how to respond. A cheery ''ok'' came out.

Phasma gave a nod then left. Kylo was putting some training gear back on its shelves. There was an awkward silence, then he spoke. ''Your mind is very loud, that will be one of the first things we'll work on,'' he said looking forward continuing to place things back.

She crossed her leg's and looked down. ''I know what you did last night,'' he said as he shut the door. Aalya looked up. ''I haven't had comfort like that as a child,'' Kylo said quietly. ''And to answer your question, no I'm not some creature or reptile under this,'' he added. ''Or a hutt,'' she said and laughed. She then imagined that picture. ''I'd have to wear a table cloth as a cowl,'' he said making her laugh.

General Hux walked in and interrupted the conversation. ''Ren, Resistance ships have been spotted in our territories,'' Hux announced. An annoying sigh was heard from his mask. ''Get my ship ready,'' Kylo ordered. Hux bowed and left. Kylo heard all the questions in Aalya's head. He stopped next to her. ''I'll explain later,'' he told her then left.
