Saved by the Dark

Pt. 11

Kylo woke up first in the med bay. His shoulder hurt like hell as he sat up. He was in a medical gown, but his boots, armor, & clothes were all nicely put on a chair.

He turned his head and saw Aalya asleep in the other bed. She had strange wires on her head reading her brainwaves. A nurse came in and checked on Kylo's bandages. ''Looks good commander,'' she said. Hux then came in shortly after. ''The Supreme Leader wants a word Ren'' he said. Annoying as he was to hear and look at, Ren HAD to obey.

Slowly, Kylo put his clothes back on. Through all the hisses and swearing under his breath, he succeeded. He was surprised Aalya didn't wake. She must really be out. Whatever happened DRAINED her. It looked as if her eyes had darkness under them and her fetal position in her sleep.

Since she clearly was unwakeable, he decided to come back for her later after his visit with Snoke.

To get to the lift that led to the throne room, he had to go through that hall where the attack was. As he went through, he saw that the wall and floor were completely burned. Even cleaners were trying their hand at it and failing. Kylo also saw burnt skeletons and lone bones still on fire.

Under his mask, it seemed as he was paying no mind. Truthfully, he was analyzing  this power. Clearly this was untamed. He made it to the lift and turned to face the doors as they closed.

He let out a deep breath when the lift doors closed. The elevator shot up through the floors as he thought about what to say. When it stopped he took another breath and stepped out when the doors opened.

The walk to the throne room was down the hall, but it seemed an eternity with each step. Kylo stopped and stood at the giant marble black doors and then went in.

''Ah, it's my faithful and loyal apprentice,'' Snoke boomed as Kylo knelt. Snoke got up from his chair with his hands folded behind him. ''You have seen that great power, haven't you?'' he said. ''Yes master,'' Kylo responded.

Snoke walked back to his throne and sat down. ''The attack from the rebels prove how valuable she is....keep up on her training for her to harness and develop more.'' ''Yes, master,'' Kylo responded and stood. ''When it's time, bring her before me,'' Snoke commanded. Kylo nodded, ''It will be done my master.''

Kylo bowed again and left. He returned to the elevator and thought on how to intensify Aalya's training. Kylo's shoulder still smarted. He rolled it around and that seemed to give some relief, he'd put more bacta sab on it later.

The elevator returned him to the rightful floor. This time stepping out, everything was cleaned. Like nothing had happened. Kylo walked into the med bay and still found Aalya asleep. With the force, he slowly removed all the wires and carried Aalya out.
