Aalya hugged Kylo's stomach after he ate. ''So what are you doing today?'' she asked with her head leaning against his. ''Not what I want to do, that's for sure,'' Kylo said. He was holding his mask that was welded back together with red metal. Aalya personally didn't like that thing. He shouldn't hide, he wasn't ugly or anything. Kylo heard her. ''I'm glad you think so, but the First Order can't have just a plain face. It needs a face like the Empire had,'' Kylo explained.

He then got up and turned around. ''I really hate leaving you, but I have planet leader's to speak to.'' Aalya looked down as she nodded. The emotions were coming again. When Kylo sensed it, he felt awful. Aalya felt his guilt. ''Don't, this is a natural thing that will pass. I'll be fine in a couple minutes, she said. Kylo still felt uneasy and didn't know what to say. He kneeled down to her. ''I'll try my hardest to get out of there early before dinner,'' he told her then kissed her. After, he placed the mask on and left.

Aalya was bored now. Since she was pregnant, she couldn't train or handle weapons. So she flopped on the couch with the holo pad and looked up what to expect next. Something's made her cover her mouth. Being as big as a planet and labor was something she was NOT looking forward to! She hoped the best doctors and nurses were there when the time came. Of course there would be, Kylo would not have his firstborn neglected.

A week came and went, Aalya had a test in the Med Bay to confirm everything. Kylo told the council she was expecting and Aalya could finally tell her handmaidens who were thrilled. This news spread like wildfire around the ship.

Lying in their bed one night, they chatted facing each other.

''Well, everyone knows now,'' Aalya started.

''Yep, the council was extremely happy that I reported the Lady is with child.''

''My handmaiden's were thrilled too, I hope no one investigates how far along.''

Kylo rubbed her stomach. ''I hope not either.''

She had a tiny gut forming. ''When will we know what you are having?'' Kylo asked.

''The nurse told me three or four months.''

''We'll be on Naboo when you deliver, I don't want our child to see these steel walls and feel trapped.''

Aalya kissed him, held his face, then laid under his chin. Kylo held her close. ''I am not going to let OUR children be pushed into the life I was, they'll be free to do and be what they want, also, they won't have they're heritage hidden from them,'' Kylo said as he held Aalya tighter.

''What about ruling the First Order?''

''We'll be dead when they take power, but we'll leave a fierce legacy behind, my strong force and your fire, they'll be unstoppable''

''What if your mother wants to see them?''

Kylo sat up and grew angry. ''DO NOT mention her again!'' he ended up yelling out. Aalya had seen Kylo mad before, but never heard it. He stood up and walked out leaving Aalya alone. Emotions took over as she cried herself to sleep that night.

When morning arrived, there was still no Kylo. Aalya's handmaidens came in to get her ready for the day. ''Where is the Supreme Leader?'' ''I have no idea, he left in a fit of rage,'' Aalya said. ''Well he better get over it because we have to get you ready to meet the leaders of Coruscant,'' one said as she readied a dress. Another quietly spoke to her,'' the Supreme Leader was born there so that might be an issue too.''

Kylo stormed in. Clearly he had been drinking, but he was still mad. ''Get out, ALL of you!'' Kylo roared. One of the handmaiden's found one of the general's and was scared to leave a pregnant Aalya alone.

''What were you discussing?!'' Kylo yelled as he threw a bottle next to her face. ''Nothing! Oh my God!'' she screamed back and started to cry. Seeing Aalya cry tugged a string in Kylo. All of a sudden his General's and Phasma came in. ''Remove her and take her to her handmaidens,'' Hux ordered Phasma. She did so picking her up and taking her out.

''Why the hell did you do that?'' Kylo asked. ''Supreme Leader you are clearly drunk and causing violence and we don't want the Lady in the crossfire,'' one said. ''Why do you care? She's not yours,'' Kylo snapped back. ''No, but your Lady is carrying a child. and endangering her, you're endangering it too,'' another General said. That made Kylo fall to the ground and sob. He remembered this event from his childhood and felt awful for repeating it.

He was a sobbing mess on the ground now. His servant's were ordered in to get him cleaned up from all this.

Aalya could feel his heartache next door. She decided to go even though everyone was against it. She slowly walked ove and found Kylo sitting on the ground. She slowly sat next to him. All his wild hair was in his face as he looked down. Aalya drew his chin up with one finger and saw the red, tear soaked eyes. Tears still continued to flow. ''See? I told you I'm a monster,'' he said. Aalya shook her head ''no'' and still wouldn't take that answer. Aalya could feel the torment and conflict within him. She secretly mustered all the strength she could and suddenly kissed him. This wasn't anything ordinary. His whole body underneath his skin lit up, even his eye's were lit by flame. She had burned away his torment and anxiety. Kylo knew what she had done and at a great cost this would be.

It had almost drained her. She fainted afterward and Kylo caught her.  The baby was unaffected, thank the gods. ''You did not have to do that,'' he whispered to her as she was unconscious. Kylo wrapped her in the warmest quilt he could find and continued to hold her tightly to him. Kylo even poured some of his life force into her, which made her awaken. ''Why did you do that?'' Kylo asked. ''You were in pain and have been for a long time, I burned it away,'' Aalya confessed. ''We need to get you by a fire,'' Kylo said. ''No...your all the warmth I need,'' Aalya said before falling asleep. Kylo wasn't convinced. He had a servant light the fireplace and then sat with Aalya in front of it.

Kylo attempted to bring up his anxieties and pain. They were gone. She actually did it. The memories remained, but the pain and betrayal were gone. He still couldn't believe she did this, especially for someone like him.

What Kylo did not realize is when he gave some of his life force to Aalya, is that now he was connected with the child too. It wasn't even fully developed yet, but it was feeding on Aalya's force and fire. Kylo decided to lighten the burden by placing his hand on her stomach and radiate some of his force in.
