As soon as the halls were empty, they both got up. I read of dressing, they covered with their cloaks and scurried down the hall to their room. Both quickly ran inside as Kylo shut the door. ''I hope we're not on the security hologram,'' Kylo said with his head back against the door.
Aalya laughed. ''So what if we are?'' Kylo turned his head and gave her a look. ''It's obvious you can live with shame,'' he said. Aalya laughed again. ''Don't worry about it,'' she said walking to the closet to get her bed clothes. Kylo followed her a few seconds later and did the same. He was still tired. After all, sex was more draining for a man. They both dressed and Kylo was out within seconds. He was lying on his side, so Aalya crept inbetween his arms. Rested her forehead on his chest and fell asleep too.
Both decided to sleep in the next day. Kylo woke first while Aalya remained under the blanket, except half of her head. She was fast asleep. Kylo had to figure out how to tell everyone how he was taking her to wife and how her title would be ''Lady of the First Order.'' He didn't want to reveal this yet, not until he had everything in place. Explaining the apprentice thing would be a challenge since it has NEVER happened before, Jedi or Sith. Technically, she would be a Master by now, but Kylo didn't even coach her through building a lightsaber yet! With the power she had, one wasn't really required, but still. Then there was that obscured weapon Snoke gave her. He knew she ditched it and saved the Kyber crystal.
Kylo's mind chatter was loud and made Aalya stir. It had woken her up. Not that she minded, she was more than fully rested and actually a little hungry. ''I'm sorry, did I wake you?'' Kylo asked as she leveled her body with his. ''Not really, my stomach had more to do with it.'' Her fingers found themselves combing through his dark, fluffy locks. The massaging and warmth from her fingers made his headaches and frazzled mind be at peace.
He didn't want her to stop, but they couldn't stay in bed all day. Both finally got up and dressed. The schedule for them was empty today, when an idea sprung into Kylo's head. ''Meet me in one of the training rooms in a half hour and bring the Kyber crystal you've stored away,'' he said and quickly left. Aalya didn't think much of it. She finished dressing and fixing her hair. Then took out a little box in a bag she had and opened it.
There sat her Kyber crystal, but it couldn't stay one color. It was a mix of red, orange, and yellow near her. Aalya thought nothing of it. She closed the lid placed it back in the bag and set it on the bed as she finished getting ready.
Before she knew it, it was time to leave. She took the bag along with her as Kylo told her to do. As she was walking, she had absolutely no idea why this was being asked of her. A pile of things ran through her head, but she dismissed them all.
When she got to the training room door, it slid open and she was greeted with a floor cushion and pieces of metal. Kylo was sitting on the opposite side. Aalya sat down. Kylo had his mask on, so in the disguised voice he said, ''Today, you'll be creating your own lightsaber. You are free to use any piece here.'' Then he stood up. ''This is something that you have to do on your own, I cannot help at all,'' Kylo finished. Aalya understood. She had read about this task/test. ''I have meetings to attend to today, so I'll leave you to it," Kylo added as he walked out the door.
Aalya gave him a nod and then went to work. She had an idea what she wanted to create. The whole day was spent on designing with trial and error. Finally, in the middle of the evening, it was completed. A fine work of art. The last test was the crystal. She placed it in and ignited the blade. It worked. Her blade color was different though. It was red but it shone as an orange and a little yellow on the outside.
Kylo walked back in hours later and saw the blade. He was VERY impressed and pleased. He proved he could accomplish the same as those Jedi masters. One last task. Kylo took his saber out and ignited it.
They both started to circle one another as Aalya adding the famous saber twirl. Suddenly, they lunged at each other as their sabers clashed. Sparks flew off as their sabers struck one another. This was an even match. They even used the force a few times to gain an advantage. The fight lasted for a good hour. It ended up being a draw since they wore each other out. Kylo was impressed with himself though, he was successful in the apprentice department, not only that, but he succeeded in high intelligence, power, and ferocity. This is what Luke didn't understand, you work with someone individually not a group.
The hour quickly passed and was late now. Aalya caught her breath before Kylo. ''I need a shower,'' she said with sweat droplets drying on her skin. Kylo removed his helmet hoping to get a little more air. ''Give me a sec and I'll join you,'' he said.
