It's gone. All I see is blackness. Everything's quiet, I hear the ticking of the clock, my eyes are closed but I know I'm awake. I smell something, something good, and something warm.
"Oh good you're awake. Get dressed you're going out." My roommate, Debby, informed. "Where am I going?" she gave me a serious look. She grabbed something from the table and threw it at me.
It's the newspaper; there are red circles over certain areas of the paper. A job! It makes sense. My roommate hated paying rent by herself.

The year is 2004, and I am not Sandra Wilson; I am Amy Smith. When I think of my past I come up short. I don't remember much, it's like I blocked out my childhood.
The more I try to remember the more lost I feel; nothing makes sense.

'Out in the open world,' 'Many things to see,' 'The sky's the limit,' obviously these quote have never heard of my luck. Finding a job is hard, not many people realize the talents I have. I could do so much if they let me show them.
First stop on my list was the most 'fascinating' one in the newspaper; assisting the manger of some big company.
Walked in and within minutes I walked right back outside still jobless. Next on my list was a secretary for some guy who's so important in the city. Obviously not so important because I didn't know him, so I didn't get the job.
What could be much worse? I spoke too soon because next I walked into a fast food restaurant, that didn't go so well considering I don't and can't cook. After two and a half hours of walking, feeling stressed about not being able to get a job I decided to visit one last place, the most boring one on my list; a hotline helping people with problem.
"Now tell me; why do you want this job?" Well, I need this job to pay my half of the rent so I don't get kicked out of my apartment by my roommate and am forced to live on the streets, hopeless, alone and making nothing of my life. "I could be a great help-" Smile. "I like to give people advice and I can handle any situation in a proper and professional way." to my surprise she smiled, extended her hand and said, "You start tomorrow." I shook her hand and got out of there before she had time to change her mind.
Back home, at last, went straight to bed exhausted by my endless hunt for a job.
