I woke up in shock.
What the hell was that? I've never had a dream like that before, and it was me.
"Ah!" I heard my roommate scream. I ran into her room and noticed her in the floor.
"What happened?" I tried cradling her for comfort.
"I can't see." she cried.
"What? You can't see? Like at all?" I needed the full information.
"No!" She started freaking out.
Oh my gosh! What's going on? This couldn't all be happening.
"Try blinking." It couldn't be true.
"It's not working" she cried even louder.
"I don't know what to do." I confessed.
She cried and cried and after about 30 minutes she stopped.
"Amy?" she cried.
"Yes Debby?"
"I can see..." her voice was so low.
"Oh my gosh! You gave me a scare. What happened?"
"I don't know. I was asleep and I had a dream that blood was coming out of my eyes and next thing I knew it I was up and I couldn't see anything." she breathed in and out.
"I didn't know what was going on." A tear rolled down her check.
I was still cradling her, "Don't worry, it's all over now. It was only a dream."
I helped her up and into her bed.
"Try to sleep, I'll be here until you fall asleep," I tried comforting her.
As I got comfortable in the floor beside her bed I felt something poking me. What could it be?
It was the box Abby gave me. Why did Debby have it?
I had to ask her, "Debby, why do you..." she had fallen asleep.
I walked back to my room wondering why Debby had my box. I never told her about it, she didn't even see it, I had it in my room from the moment I came home.
I couldn't go back to sleep. Things are getting more and more strange. This whole thing that just happened with Debby was overwhelming. I would never put her through something like that if I had control over it. Sometimes she makes me crazy, but I would never wish the worse on her.
As I rested my head back on my pillow I thought about my dream.
In my dream I remembered how it felt like to not see. Things were blurry, I could hardly make thing up. I remembered Wendy. Who is Wendy? I knew no one of that name, but somehow her voice reminded me of someone.
Time went by in a hurry, before I knew it, it was time for me to go to work.
"You look awful." Jessica didn't care much for my feelings.
"Thanks." I faked a smile.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it in a bad way."
"I knew what you meant."
I was late for work, considering I didn't even sleep last night.
I couldn't get the dream out of my head, or why Debby had my box.
