chapter thirty

(Zayn's POV)

My life is fucked right now..... I can't even begin to comprehend how shitty everything is.....why did this happen to me?.......what did I do,to deserve this?!?. I sit here in the hospital waiting room,waiting for them to give me an update on Carson. I don't know why I brought my dad in because I know it won't work but.

I have a small sliver of hope that they can get his jolly heart working again. That 's until this bitch had to ruin that little sliver. "Mr.Malik?" My head shoots up and I spot a nurse with long black hair and crystal blue eyes she smiles at me but I don't return it.  "Yes?" My voice comes out hoarse and tired.

She walks over to me with her tall tan legs and sighs out of sadness. I stand up and she says "umm,Mr.Malik....y-your father, he-he didn't make it I'm terribly sorry." I stand there with a blank expression and fall back into my seat. I didn't realize that I was crying loudly until the nurse pulls me in a hug.

I push her away "I'm fine!" He frowns and I look down "I'm sorry,I'm j-just mad." She nods understandably and says "well I think I have something that will cheer you up?" I look up at her as nd she bites her lip and smiles "Your lady friend....Miss. James, she is awake and is asking for you." I smile sadly and stand wiping away my tears.

"I-is she okay?" The nurse nods "yes,we got her through surgery fine,and the bullet is out....she may be tired due to the blood loss though." I nod and walk back to her room and ready to break the news to her. I walk down the long hall way and up to the lift. I hit the up button and the lift opens immediately.

I step in side and hit floor five. I wait till the doors open and walk down the hallway and stop at her door knocking lightly. "Come in." I open the door slightly and she smiles lovingly at me 'atleast I'm lucky enough to have her here with me through this.'

"Zayn,hi." I smile a small smile and walk to the chair on the right of her and sit. "Hi,ummm I have some news to-to tell you." She looks at me and nods "what is it,zayn you can tell me." I feel the tears well up and I look down sadly chuckling trying to stop the flow of tears that are pouring out like Niagara falls.

She brushes the pad of her thumb across my face and she kisses my nose "zayn?" I sigh "I,ummm.....my d-dad, he didn't make it." Her eyes widen and her tears start to well up "z-zayn, I'm so...so sorry I can't even imagine how you must feel come here!" I lean over into her chest and she slowly wraps her thin arms around me as I let out my tears

I feel her body slightly shake due to her crying as well but she tries to hide it. "C-Carson?" She moves away slightly and looks at me "y-yeah." I kiss her lips softly and she grabs my face between her hands and sighs "don't leave me....please?" She smiles at me and shakes her head "I wouldn't dream of it, I love you" I smile "I love you too."
