chapter twenty-seven

(Carson's POV)

My eyes open and I shoot up breathing heavily and crying. Zayn raises up next to me rubbing my back and pulls me into his arms and lays us back down and I lay my head on his chest. "Carson?.....what happened?" I shake my head my throat is dry and scratchy and all that comes out are my sobs.

I stand up without a word and walk out of Zayn's room ignoring Zayn's confused and upset calls for me. I walk to the kitchen and open the fridge thinking about what just happened. I look at the clock 3:30am.

I think about the nightmare I just had upstairs and I get upset all over again sitting at the bar stool with my glass of water.

(Beginning of dream flash back)
I am standing in an open field, in a beautiful white high-low dress and my hair is down in natural waves pinned back at the front in twists. I look up at the sky,hoping for something good to happen. I look around me and stop when my eyes catch and tree line.

There is sound, I walk closer to the trees and stop about ten feet away from them and when I hear my name being faintly called. "Carson.........Carson...........Carson." it gets louder as I get to the trees and finally I push past the trees and they vanish as the unknown person screams my name "CARSON!"

I turn around looking all around me and I stop at the far end of a park,I look and see a figure a ways ahead of me. I squint my eyes hoping to see better. I call out to it "hello?!?" The figure walks very slowly to me and even at its pace,it gets to me fast.

I notice that the figure is zayn,but he looks different, I back away and he smirks at me "leaving so soon love?" I look back at him "zayn, where are we?" He walks to where he is right in front of me and whispers in my ear "we are in your mind darling."

I chuckle "well obviously,this is a dream." Zayn smiles and nods he grabs my hand and we walk to the center if the park and stop,when I turn around I see that we are on a mountain,not the park. I look wide eyed at zayn and he smirks and says "I love you." I scream as a figure in black comes out of now where and stabs him in the stomach and pushes him off of the mountain.

I run to the edge of the mountain but it feels as if I'm in slow motion and I reach for his hand "ZAYN!" He looks at me as he falls and mouths the words 'I'm sorry' I fall the ground crying and banging my hands on the ground "no,no,no,NO....ZAYN,WHY YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO LEAVE......I love you."

(End of dream flash back)

My eyes snap up to the door way and I let out a breath seeing zayn and he looks at me worried "are you alright,I've been trying to talk to you for ten minuets now,and you were just staring off into space." I look at him and stand up and starting to cry he wraps his arms around me.

I cry into his chest and he rubs my back "hey.....shh, tell me what happened baby." I quiet down and start to tell him about what happened. "You-you were dead.......just I was in a field and then heard a noise and I walk to the trees and then I heard my name being yelled and I pushed through the trees and you were there,and grabbed my hand and you took me to a park,and we ended up on a mountain."

I look up at him and he stares down at me sadly "what else happened?" I sigh and tear up "then a hooded man or girl in black stabbed you in the stomach,and you were just bleeding so much and you said you loved me,and then the pushed you off of the mountain, I tried to get to you,I really did but I couldn't and when I reached for you I was to late and I screamed and you mouthed to me 'I'm sorry'."

Zayn looks down at me and his eyes widen,he pulls me closer "I'm sorry you had to go through that,and just know that I'm not leaving you......ever." I nod in his chest and I look up and press my lips to his,he kisses back instantly and we pull away slowly.
