"How was your first day on the job?" Calisaya's aunt inlaw Moana asked
Calisaya lifts her head and looks around she wondered who it was that started a new job today, Bob works as a security and up until this morning he still has his job, Anna and Kimmy both were in school aunt Cathleen was a nurse she works at the general hospital down town,
Jordan is a lawyer and kelvin works at the telephone company neither of her parents works and Roxanne and Romana own the store they work,
"I'm talking to you" Moana said points at calisaya
" Oh" calisaya laugh
" We're offering her a job and she refuses to take it" Romona said
"That's a nice gesture" Keith said
" Mmmm"calisaya shook her head
" Why not honey? " Christine asked
" I'm not good for that" calisaya said
" Right now you're good for nothing for you ain't doing sh....,." Roxanne said
"Don't be saying that now ah" , Calisaya said as she slaps at her sister with the dish cloth and they giggle,
"But you're not doing nothing now" Roxanne said
"I'll find something" calisaya said
" Find something when you're looking" Romana said
" She's right honey" Christine said
"It's good at the store and I love it there but I don't want to work there advertising is my thing I love that" calisaya said
" Than maybe you can advertise for us" Roxanne said
"Dress in our design and stand at the door way"
They laugh,
"I'll send in my application" calisaya said
" Better be soon" Romana said
They all grin,
After a while together calisaya got up and asked to be excused for she was going off to the bedroom and to use the bathroom,
"You got the time why not just take it you still have to be calling and calling" Romana said
"if it was you I wouldn't care if you call" calisaya said
" That's true go call your husband" Roxanne said
Calisaya smiled and put her thumb up then left going to the bedroom she took a shower and remained in the bedroom she didn't try calling her husband again and didn't bother to bother crystal she lay there eventually she fell asleep,
Her sisters went down to see it was so her phone at her ears neither of them bothered to wake her they just went to bed,
"So hubby puts you to sleep last night you didn't bother to come back out" Roxanne spoke when Calisaya stretched her way into the kitchen Sunday morning
Romana giggle calisaya continues to stretch each arm from one side to the other listings to her joint crick,
"You are to go jogging your bones are caught up you need to get them use to other things, not just sex" Roxanne said
" Like how she let herself be used to only one job" Romona said with a smirk
Calisaya turn to see Roxanne smiling hissed at her, hissed at them both, as she sat next to her younger cousin Bob,
Aunt Cathleen serves her some fish tacos with shrimp balls, and some chocolate tea sweetened with coconut milk,
" Maybe you're to get in to the advertising business own your own company" Bob suggested
"doesn't sound like a bad idea, so we even have one in this town? " Cathleen ask
Calisaya shrugged she didn't hear of any since the one she worked got demolished
"my time will come I'm waiting in the wings" calisaya said
" God is able honey and that's why we're to trust in him" Christine said as she got up from the table,. "And made time for him" she started humming as she made her way out,
They all knew she would be getting ready to go to church as everyone decided to trad a long today after getting ready she came into the living room to find them all dressed surprised for this haven't happen at her house with her family it was only her and her husband had gone to church and he had his time when he didn't feel up to coming,
"Good lord!" Christine held her palms up looking to God tears come rolling, calisaya, Roxanne and Romana hug her calisaya wipe the tears hug her shoulder as they all leave the house.
Hardy stood on the porch taking in the cool cool air from the wind blowing off the lake he haven't rented this weekend and decided to drive out and chill a while he felt tired and didn't want to do nothing, once he's back at home something was going to show up for him to do, lassie bark up at him turning around whining he knew once she's here she want to go explore he tucked his cellular phon in his pocket and went out with lassie giving her time to enjoy herself,
As soon as she ran off barking from the other side of the lake this over grown shepherd dog rush down barking Hardy watch to see and he came sniffing around lassie they both start whining lassie sat on the ground and the dog push and poke her with out getting her up he bark then ran off
Lassie got up and came to Hardy whining he smiled , "it's ok girl" he said rubbing her and hugging her to him, they got back to their walk and Hardy saw his dog looking about as if to be looking for that big shepherd bull,
There was a invited pastor to give the sermon today pastor Fitz Bryan was his name his sermon was pretty lively calisaya love the way he preach,
The spirit had led me to pray for a young lady" pastor Bryan said" you young lady come" he point in calisaya's direction she turn to look behind her, " it's you" pastor said" don't look around come"
Calisaya felt her knees shake,
But she got up and walk towards the pastor he watch her with a smile,
"The Lord bless you and cause his face to shine up on you" he anoints her " God loves you and he cares for you, you are struggling with somethings right now and you felt discouraged, but give yourself time you're going to move from where you at you're going to get peace of mind peace in abondances, you're going to become successful in the job you love so much, there's even a possibility you'll own apart of it fifty fifty" the man said,
Roxanne and Romana giggle at each other
Calisaya didn't think that to be possible at all she's not saying that the man doesn't know what he's saying but she doesn't think she'll make it to own an advertising company half and half,
"unexpected love is going to find you and take you places you long to be, all this won't come today maybe not tomorrow but keep the faith it's close, closer than you think, don't let the trying times over power you" he said " God love you go and be blessed.
Calisaya walk back to her seat she sat and a woman rest her arm on her and started speaking in tongues then more people started doing so, the church seems to got on blaze for most the congregation were blasting in tongues, one in particular saying to calisaya you're going to be blessed you're going to prosper your breakthrough is coming you're going to see a season of reaping of happiness" she has her hand on her for a period of time before she calm down and they sit, calisaya felt exhausted
Roxanne touch her shoulder when they were walking to the car,
Calisaya face her " you ok? " She asked
" I guess so" calisaya answer
But she was quiet on the way home, she thought about so much especially what she's going through now with her husband and wonder if she
"I've not seen church this firey" Keith said
"Yes honey it seems your blessings is bountiful" Christine said
Calisaya smile
"Does that mean you're going to own an advertising company? " Romona ask
"who knows he said to wait I'm doing just that"
" Fifty fifty share holders like you and I" Roxanne said
" Wouldn't that be wonderful" Christine said
Calisaya believe so too thinking how great it would be but as she said she doesn't know what the future holds but she's watching to see, she's really facing difficulties with her husband she didn't know that they would have problem so ib life you learn to look for the unexpected that wasn't just the bad but the good also.
"Are you going to leave tonight can't you stay until tomorrow! " Roxanne asked
Calisaya wasn't sure what to do she doesn't want to go home and it caused a problem between her and Richard she wasn't going to call him, for she didn't know why her gut feeling tells her he is home with another woman it hurts her to think on it so bad but for the sake of being with the family she have to fight the bad feeling inside and kept a smile,
" Why so you can team up on me again and beat me at board game" calisaya hissed,
"No no board games tonight we're just going to sit in and have some time together" Roxanne said
"Alright I'll stay hopefully I'll get the chance to go home tomorrow" calisaya said
It wasn't a bad thing to be with the family she love staying around them but what she didn't want to do is stay from her husband for when she shows no interest of going home to him they are going to get suspicious and asked questions,
As plan all they did was talk though they talk mainly about what happened in church today it was still talk the night got over and they all said goodnight, calisaya lay in bed and worries cloud her mind she thought about going home thinking this weekend has been the happiest she'd been since she found out about her husband and his mistress she wondered if and went happiness go come how it's going to come will Richard give up on his affair to be with just her she haven't learned why he started one in the first place for she tried to be more that he wanted now she wondered if she had tried too hard, she wondered what the woman he's seeing is like what qualifies she has she don't, did she look a lot better than her was it the live that was better, a lot of thoughts fill her up, well she figured maybe because she's working but it's not as if she doesn't need a job she doubt she can't just pick a job she's not qualified for,
Richard was in the shower and Patrice was left alone in the room, she found blouse she like in calisaya's closet and took it with the bag she knew
Richard wouldn't get her and she really loved it she took a purse too and two fancy swim suits and a night dress, she didn't let Richard see them,
Richard dropped Patrice at her apartment Sunday in the afternoon, he kill some time having a drink at the pub before heading home, he thought his wife would be home but it was already late he figured she won't, she have not called since he ignored her last night and he wasn't going to call her,
Calisaya rolls on her belly and force to fall asleep,
It was late when she did but she got up early She pushed her head out but it seems no one was up she decided to take a shower she was there when the door knocked, but by she got out no one was there but a nice bag at the door her sisters seems to have separate their closets to give to her, a part from a few things that weren't new they were mainly tagged ones, underwear and such,
Calisaya smiles to herself, "Thank you" she said shouting from the room,
Romana grin.
"Breakfast is ready" Roxanne said with a smile
Calisaya got dressed in one of what her sisters gave her a design jeans and a strap blouse,
"You keep giving me all these and I am going to have to start a front yard sale" calisaya grin once she got to the kitchen
Anna and Kimmy were ready to leave, so they came around to hug her, "bye calisaya see you" Anna said said
"Will you come again this weekend?" Kimmy asked
"I'll have to see about that" calisaya said
"I'm sure her husband won't let her off like that two weekends in a row" Roxanne said
Anna and Kimmy grin
Calisaya smiles, "just in case I can ok"
They both nodded and they left because the bus was near time to come,
Kelvin left ahead of Jordan who left ten minutes after,
Roxanne and Romana then leave calisaya stays on another hour before she said goodbye she was afraid to go home and linger about when it was past midday she called her husband's office from a payphone and heard he was out for lunch, she has a cab drop her at the house, she got to the front yard paid the driver and watch it leave,
She stood in the front yard and felt nervous, she wondered why, for her husband was at work and turned the key into the lock she walked into the living room something felt strange, maybe because she hasn't gone this long she looked around the living room before taking the stairs,
The minute calisaya opens the door to the bedroom in which she sleeps she could smell a different fragrance something unfamiliar from what she and her husband uses, the bed came in sight from the looks of it, it tells her husband didn't sleep in it alone, calisaya dropped her bags where she stands she walks to the bed took up the sheet and smells it the scent of a woman was there a long with her husband's scent, with tears she rip the sheets from the bed turning to go out the room to dump them in the bin, she saw that her things on the dresser has been misplaced move around from how she left them she went over and fix them back as was, she noticed that her hair brush has a different hair one that appears to be blond and she was natural black, she didn't want to really believe that her husband could bring his woman in the house but the hair from her hair brush has to belong to her, she went down stairs, out back to the bin and dump the sheets there with the hair brush, she was coming through the kitchen when she saw the sink piled up with dishes and glasses two of each things witch was used Calisaya close her eyes and breathe deeply,
After the dishes were finished and she cleans the kitchen calisaya took the stairs and went back to the bedroom She pulled out the top drawer on the dresser, she saw some of her new sets of underwear without tag roll over as if someone had them on having the feeling that it wasn't her husband or did he became that freaky, calisaya started removing them, she found that eight pairs of her underwear tags were removed and to the way they were someone has put them on, she's not expecting it to be her husband and wonder why he would allow his woman to go through her things and do as she likes, she felt her heartaches with hatred for her husband and this woman she knows nothing about apart from her turns up in her husband's life coming in to her marriage and into her home and invading her space, she pull the pillow case off the pillow and start taking the panties out the drawer as she was going to burn them the one that didn't have tags anymore, they were panties she haven't even tried on since she got them, some from crystal and the others were mainly mainly from her sisters, she can't let neither of them knows but she could call crystal and pour out to her, she was crying and her best friend felt sad for her calisaya saw that things from her closet has been removed from the hanger and left on the shelf although it was a single dress take off the hanger and she put it in the pile of things to be burn, she saw where someone been looking through the things a shoe was move out it's place too and she gathered that too to put in the pile,
She came to realize that her expensive bag was gone along with a purse and a pink blouse she wore only once, her swim suits and one of her nice night gown
Calisaya hang up from crystal and clean the bathroom and the bedroom she was around back at the trash can burning the things when Richard got home he smell the smoke and went around,
"What you doing there?" He asked
Calisaya look at him but said nothing she turn away as she was again brought to tears
"I could see the smoke all the way down the street I thought the house was on fire" Richard said
Still she pays him no mind, when the fire burnt out she cover the can walked by him and went into the house using the kitchen door,
Richard saw that the kitchen was clean, when he took the stairs up behind her he noticed the bed was stripped and the room clean he was able to smell the sweet aroma of the cleaning agent,
"You didn't come home last evening" Richard said
Calisaya look at them, with tears in her eyes, "come home, where is home?" She asked hissed and pushed by him going into the bathroom she took a shower and decided to get dressed into something fancy, they were her things and since her husband's mistress can used them as please why not make use of them,
It's been such a long time since calisaya went out she wasn't really that type who just got dress and went out but tonight she decided to do so
Richard was in the kitchen fixing a drink when the front door slammed, he went and looked out the front door but didn't see his wife,
Calisaya had two drinks and wandered the street a bit before going home she got to the house at a quarter past midnight she wasn't drunk but she was dizzy,
"Ah" she sighed, "if I had one more liquor to drink" she murmured as she got through the door, she didn't go up stairs to the bedroom she shares with Richard she didn't see the use, she just spend the night on the sofa, she was up and in the kitchen when he comes in
"Fix me a cup of coffee" he said
Calisaya look at him,
The thoughts that gathered in her heart make her feel tears she wanted to make it hot enough and throw it in his face or maybe put something in it that keeps him visiting the bathroom even go on himself, the bottle of laxative pills sits in the cupboard a long with a bottle of magnesium, calisaya close her eyes and let the thoughts passed "two wrongs don't make a right" she thought to herself she fix the coffee as God would want her to and hand it to him, she left the kitchen and went out to cry for she was unable to help it she really was hurting for she wasn't looking to see her husband doing these things to her, she tried to keep a straight face especially when she's in his presence, Friday morning he walk in the kitchen calisaya wonder if it was to tell her to go to her family again this weekend he didn't say anything to her, she had fix some coffee and hamlet and toast and he was having some he had left his phone on the counter when it rings calisaya turned her head and saw a image of a tan skin blonde hair woman on the screen and he save her as babes, she look at him as he reached to pick it up he took it up look at her acknowledging that she saw but didn't care for before he walked away he answered "Babes I'm about to leave home"
Calisaya bite her lips as she try to fight the tears but guess she didn't tried hard enough for they comes rolling and she cried sad tears.
