After my encounter with Jace, falling asleep didn't become easier I think it must've been around 5am when I finally dozed off.  Around 9 am I woke up "I only got four hours of sleep?"  this day is going to be amazing.

After the attack two days ago my brothers and dad were preparing Evelyns funeral which was being held tomorrow. It was going to be kept small because of the circumstances and apparently a funeral can become deadly as it is a moment, where people are already vulnerable and therefore easy targets. 

Niko was still preparing himself for the underground tournament. Shit I forgot to talk with Jace about Niko stance.  

I was walking around the house, trying to find one of my brothers how long had I spent? Maybe 15 minutes more or less that's downside of a big house, finding someone can be extremely hard. After having searched the kitchen I went upstairs again where  I saw Liam in the livingroom and he also had a small bag in his hand. 

"Hey Miya I wanted to give you this" he said as he held out his hand. "It's a phone and all of our numbers are already in it I thought you may need one"

"Thanks Liam you didn't have to buy new phone" I said, as I saw he had bought me a phone of the the latest model "you know I still have mine". 

"I know but I just, yeah I just really wanted to buy you a gift"

"Thank you", "and also now that you're here do you by any chance know where Jace is"

"Yeah he and Niko are in the gym", "why are you looking for him?"

"There's just something I want to tell him"

Liam simply nodded "well see you later then"

"Yeah see you later".

...

Jace was doing bench presses when I got to the gym, shirtless might I add not that I'm complaining. 

"Hei Jace where's Niko?"

"He went to take a shower"

"Oh okay", "Jace I actually want to speak with about something"

Jace stopped doing his bench presses and sat upright.

"Okay so I don't know if you have realized but the way Niko positions his feet is completely off, "he places his feet too close to each other when throws punches"

"You really are the Lily" Jace nodded to himself "you're right about his stance and I have already told him and he's focusing on getting it fixed"

"He has four days Jace, will he be ready in such short time?"

"yes he will Niko is quick to learn new techniques so I don't doubt it"

Well that's good at least I won't be seeing my brother stumble to defeat.

"What about you Jace are you also fighting in the tournament?"

"Yes I am, I am going to beat your brother's ass" 

I laughed "I'd like to see that"

"But Miya on another note, are you going to tell them who you really are. You know maybe the mafia could use your skills?"

"Yeah maybe, but I don't know if I should. Does the mafia even respect a girl or I mean a woman who fights or will they doubt my skills and look at me and still think I need their protection and forever make sure I dont use my skills? Even you keep my skills a secret, you didn't even tell them that you knew where I was"

"There is one thing I want to make clear"  Jace stood up towering over me "I didn't tell them where you were for your sake, I thought that you wanted to stay away from your family and that's why I never told them. Your skills had nothing to do with it"

"So you think I should tell them?"

"The Lily i heard of the Lily I fought against would never hide. The Lily underground is way too strong to do that." 

"I'd like a rematch you know last time we fought, well it wasn't a fair fight"

Jace smiled I'm glad he was able to, even if he at the moment must be broken.

"Hei Miya it would be awesome to see you in the ring here Oregon"

I smiled and left the gym. After my conversation with Jace, I knew what I had to do.

The morning after my conversation with Jace, Evelyn's funeral was held it was small and only a few other people were there. 

Ava stood beside her brother and together they stood and watched, as the mother they loved was buried. For my brothers it was the same, the woman who even though hadn't given birth to them but had taken care of them as if they were her own children was gone.

Life Is so weird one second your loved ones are alive but before you realize, you're only left with their memory.

...

There were to days to the beginning of the tournament, when I heard a knock on my door "yeah come in"

It was Niko "hei Miya I was just wondering if you would like to go to the mall with me and Xander? I need some clothes and gear for the tournament"

"Yeah it would be nice to leave the house a bit"

"Oh and Ava is coming as well."
