There is violence in this chapter.

We took Xander's car to the mall. Xander drove Niko sat beside him, and Ava and I sat on the backseats. Ava and I haven't talked much since we met. I of course told her I was sorry for her loss, but other than that we hadn't had a real conversation yet.

My brothers' relationsship with Ava was very close. I quickly realized they really were her big brother. Even as we were eating dinners together, they didn't need ask each other for the things on the table they couldn't reach, if they wanted the salt, before they knew it someone had already given it them. They share an understanding of each other that I don't share. I couldn't help it but I was jealous. Idiot I told myself you're jealous of a 16 year old girl, and the relationsship she has with your brothers.

Xander's car was a Lambo and you could hear how the motor begged to be used and so Xander did. In a few minutes we were already at the mall.

Xander looked at me and Ava " you girls can just be together in the mall I don't think having us beside you is going to be any fun so you have all the time you need for the shops that you want to visit"

Xander then handed me a credit card "I know that you have your own credit card but use this instead and don't worry about how much you spend"

I didn't say no to the credit card but I also knew I wouldn't using it, I'll spend my own money if I want something I hate people paying for me.

"Miya did Liam hand you your new phone"

"Yeah Niko he gave it this morning don't worry I know what you're going to say, and yes I will call you if anything happens.

We then parted and entered the mall.

"Ava are there any specific stores you like?"

Ava nodded and then went on and mentioned brands that I had never heard of but they did sound very expensive.

One of the stores that Ava wanted to visit, had handbags that were more than 2000dollars. Man she was spoiled.

"Ava isn't spending so much on a bag unnecessary?"

"Why would you say that, we'll just use the card Xander gave you"

"Yeah but still,.. you know what just take the card I'm not going to use it anyway"

Does this girl have any idea about how long it takes to make such money? This girl needs a reality check.

After we had visited a few stores, Ava was now carrying 15 bags filled designer stuff. I had also lost count of how much she had spend, not that it was really my business, it just hurt to see someone care so little about money, when I think about Luca's situation.

"Miya can we grab something to drink maybe a coffee?"

"That would be nice", my feet were also killing me so this was probably the best idea Ava had, had all day.

"So Miya do you go to school or Uni?"

"No I don't" I really didn't to tell Ava about my past now, it just tends to ruin the mood when I do se.

"Then do you have a job or you a hobby?"

I get that Ava was just being nice but all of her questions would lead to me, having to lie.

"Well not right now but before moved in with you I worked at a place called ChildCare"

Ava nodded "I'm gonna going to use bathroom"

I gave her a little smile and she left. 6 minutes must have passed when I became suspicious what was taking so long? Shit maybe something had happened.

As I opened the door to the women's bathroom I saw Ava, she wasn't alone. Four guys had surrounded her and her shirt was ripped apart and then a saw their knives... shit.

As I had entered they all turned around, and I locked the door to the bathroom leaving them trapped inside with me. I quickly took a look at Ava they had slapped her. Her right cheek was red, and had a white mark where the outline of a hand could be seen.

"And who are you, young lady?"

"It's better you don't know, but you need to step away from that girl.. NOW"

"And what if we don't what are you going to do then?" he said as he brought his knife up making it show more clearly as if it would scare me.

"you know what? I don't time for this"

"Miya run away call Xander or Nico you can't fight them on your own", Ava was clearly scared and if I hadn't been the Lily that's what I would have done but this was going to be fun.

One of the men quickly launched towards me trying to use his bare knuckles to hit my stomach, but I quickly broke his arm by yanking my elbow down on his stretched arm, you could hear the sound of bones cracking and he screamed.

"Miya look out!"

One of the men had, while I was fighting with the other went behind my back in the hopes of me falling for the surprise attack, but as he with the knife in his hand ran towards me, I grabbed his arm and in one movement I flipped him over my shoulder, and on purpose I used a bad technique so he would also break his arm. I guess no one was leaving with arms intact today.

I don't know if I was rusty because I hadn't fought for some time, but without me realizing one of the two men, I still hadn't dealt with was able to slice my arm it stung, and the cut was deep man that's a sharp knife I thought. The same man tried to attack again, but this time I got a grab of the hand which he held the knife in, and made him loose his grip on it. I then punched his stomach making him fall to the ground in agony.

Then pain. All I felt was pain, I messed up the last bastard had stabbed me in the back. I quickly reached for my phone throwing it to Ava "call Xander now". Before my attacker knew it I turned around still with the knife in my back and faced whoever this man was. I wasn't going to let him touch Ava. In a quick movement without the man realizing I punched his throat making him unable to breath.

With a voice in agony I looked at Ava "did you call them?", she nodded "good".

"How did you do that Miya?" but before I could answer her question Niko and Xander were there.

"Ava Miya are you there!" Niko shouted. "Ava can you open the door? I locked it".
