23.

Niko pov

Xander had gotten a call from Ava that had left him in complete rage, something was wrong they had been attacked. Man thought I to myself, as soon as I get my hands on those bastards they're dead.

Ava opened the door to the women's bathroom, and then I saw a man trying to attack her from behind with only one of his arms, the other well it seems it was broken. With a quick movement Xander had broken his other arm as well.

Xander and I entered the bathroom completely, and there sitting in the corner was Miya she had a deep wound on her arm but why was there so much blood why was she so pale?

"Xander Niko you have to get Miya to our doctor she has been stabbed in the back"

Miya was slowly loosing her consciousness and clearly wasn't able to walk on her own, so I quickly took her in my arms carried her out, and left the building from one of the backdoors so no one could see us.  Had she fought those four men alone? Stupid question Niko you know Ava couldn't even hurt a bee, of course Miya did it.

Miya

I don't remember how I got out of the mall, the next thing I felt, was me being placed down on car seats with my stomach downwards since the knife was still in my back. Also I could hear people talk, both to me and each other but it was all muffled none of their words really made any sense.

....

"Is she going to be alright doc?"

"Yes she will be alright, but she will have some issued walking around since the knife was a bit close to her spine, but it isn't permenant". There was a sigh the one you make when you've been worried for some time but finally received good news.

"Thank you very much Henry"

"of course sir"

Finally I was able to identify the person speaking to the doctor, it was Zack. Still I didn't have the strength to open my eyes.

"Zack the Italians were behind this weren't they?" Niko was the one asking the question, were they all standing around my bed? that is if I am even in my bed.

"Xander was able to identify the men and yes it were the Italians they were after Ava, which he told us when we tortured him"

"What about Miya?"

"They couldn't recognize her, only that she was able to completely ruin their plan which apparently was to take Ava hostage"

"How the hell did she manage that?"

I didn't let my brothers try and answer that for themselves. 

"Cause I'm badass", there wasn't really a point in trying to hide anymore also Ava had seen what had happened.

Finally I had managed to open my eyes, only to see all of my brothers standing upright around my bed. Jace was there too, sitting at my desk, he must've heard his sister was involved as well.

Liam looked at me he was angry "Miya now is not the time to be funny or make jokes, you have no idea how worried we were"

"Liam I'm not making jokes" my voice was weak. "Niko you know who the Lily is right?"

Niko's eyes widened, for a few moments he didn't say a word, trying to put all pieces of the puzzle together.

"No way you're lying right" Niko grinned but when he saw my face being dead serious, he knew I wasn't joking.

"Niko care to explain what being the Lily means", Liam was still pissed.

"The Lily basically is a fighting machine, the most feared fighter underground in all of US. Not only that the Lily got that title at a very young age, because the Lily had Mason Luca Tyler better known underground as just Luca as her mentor".

Niko was trying hard to compose himself, as he realized that he had been trying to train me on how to exercise self defence, and now he just thought he was an idiot for having tried to tell the Lily on how to do so.

"Why didn't you tell us this sooner?"

"I was worried Xander, I had no idea who your really were, or how you would react. I thought maybe you would, I don't really know, I was just afraid you wouldn't allow me to be the Lily or to fight underground"

"It's amazing what you have achieved Miya, but you are right, I won't allow you to fight underground".
