Kashmere felt a sense of relief as the feeling of fresh cold water slide down her throat.

"I can't wait until we go to college brah." Tyrell known as Te spoke, tossing his SPALDING basketball into the air. Despite the air-conditioning Tyrell was still dripping of sweat.

"Nigga, I ain't going to college. Why the fuck ima' waste all that money just for a mu'fucka who ain't gon be richer than me for?" Dimitri suck his teeth, grabbing the cold Dasani water bottle out of Kashmere hand.

Sharing wasn't a problem for them because they use to take baths together. They've all grown up with one another; rather their parents were friends or they met in first grade.

"Shidd, I just know by time I get Keyonna age, ima' be the flyest nigga in the A." Malachi smile, folding his arms behind his head as he leaned back onto Tyrell's pillow. "Rocking designer shoes, brand new banez, them white bitches gon love me."

They were all at the gathering of Tyrell's sister Keyonna trunk party. She's the first one to go off to colleges, so of course everyone's looking up to her.

"Well, me?" Kashmere smile, pressing her small hand on her hijab. "I'm going to college to be an nurse or maybe a doctor."

"I could see that for you, sis. But Chi, ain't no white bitch gon' want to fuck with yo' midget ass." Dimitri laugh, causing the rest of them to laugh.

"Dude, fuck you." Malachi respond, sticking up his middle finger. Malachi was always a hustler; his mother works at an pawn shop so it's in his blood. He doesn't know it yet but he's willing to get his money legally and illegally; he just knows he doesn't want his family to continue to struggle.

"What about you, Cyx?" Tyrell ask, turning his head towards Cyx who sat on the green crate with his face in Tyrell's iPad.

Cyx shrug his shoulders as he look up at his friends. Kashmere frown noticing something was wrong with Cyx; he wasn't as talkative as usual.

"Y'all want to go back to the center?" Kashmere stood up, rubbing her sweaty hands against her thighs. Kashmere was getting hotter by the second and the air-condition that held in Tyrell's window wasn't doing anything for her, considering she was a curvy and thicker girl.

"Hell yeah." Tyrell grin. Kashmere watch as the boys began to prepare to go to the center.

Tyrell love basketball, that's his dream. He was going to make it to the NBA one day once he put his mind to it. He always says once I make it, everybody going to be straight, my mom won't ever have to want for nun'.

The group was fresh out of eighth grade, soon to be freshman's and they're so excited for that. They finally get to do the things they've seen their older siblings do, parties, girls and getting money.
