I lie in the cold snow
Making a snow angel
Tears of pain springing in my eyes
I blink slowly, so slowly
My tears crystallising into icicles
On my eyelashes, on my cheeks
I breathe out a cold puff of air
I look out the cold dark night
The moon is shining brightly,
Reminding me of Artemis, the Greek goddess
Her sacred animal a deer
Which is my spirit animal
Stars twinkle in the air but all I can think is
I'm so terribly sad, so depressed
My sadness consumes me, breaks me
Suddenly a shooting star streaks through the night sky
And a tiny part of me is lit up with hope
And I make a wish
