Next morning
They were clearing the table after having breakfast when Mini's phone rang.
Mini: Unknown number... I think it's someone from... (She picked it up and put it on speaker)
Caller: Is the work done?
Mini: Yes.
Caller: Fine, tell me kahan milogi.
Neil: Milogi? Excuse me, sorry to intervene but she can't step out right now.
Caller: Toh tum aa jao.
Mini: Even he can't.
Caller: Arrey lekin mujhe file chahiye aaj.
Mini: Haan toh ab pura case hi complicated hai, hum kya karein?
Caller: Sir ke dimaag mein bhi pata nahi kya aaya tha, 2 ziddi logo ko ek project de diya. Bhagwan jaane kaise kaam kiya hoga tumne saath mein.
Neil: Ho gaya tumhara?
Caller: Nahi abhi kahan? Dekho tum ache se jaante ho mai ghar nahi aa sakta. Kuch socho aur mujhe abhi batao.
Mini (to Neil): I think in any case one of us will have to go and meet him.
Neil: And that one will not be you Mini.
Mini: Kyun? Mai kyun nahi jaa sakti?
Neil: You know the reason!! It's unsafe for you.
Mini: It's not safe for you either!!

Mini felt her eyes tearing up as she heard his words. The mere thought of losing him shook her to the core but she took a deep breath to calm down a bit.

Neil: I will come Adi.
Aditya: Woah!! Pehchaan gaya tu?
Neil: Ofcourse.
Aditya: Kahan milna hai?
Mini: One second... Aditya please hold.
Aditya: Hold karte karte shaam mat karwa dena tum dono. Jaldi baat karo.
Mini (to Neil): Jaane ka decision tumhara hai lekin meeting spot mai decide karungi and you'll not stop me. (He looked at her) Woh jo tumhara dost hai, woh doctor, kya naam tha uska? Haan Dr. Yash... Tumne bataya tha ki woh jaanta hai tumhare kaam ke baare mein so you can meet Aditya in his clinic. I don't think use koi problem hogi. Moreover, you can get your wound checked with him once. Itne din ho gaye but it's not getting healed. Tum wahan jaoge toh kisi ko doubt bhi nahi hoga. Atleast it is safer than meeting him at some isolated village road.
He smiled and gave her an assuring blink.
Neil: Adi, note down the address........
Aditya: Yeh toh koi clinic hai...
Neil: Atleast better than meeting at some isolated village road. (Saying this, he winked at Mini. She rolled her eyes, smiling)
Aditya: Theek hai, I will see you at 12.
Neil got ready and checked the file again to make sure that it has no errors. Mini helped him with that. Though they were trying to act normal, something in their hearts warned them of the upcoming. After everything was done, Neil stood up to leave. He was about to step out but stopped, feeling something and she too felt the same urge. She quickly went near him and hugged him tightly. He embraced her in his arms like never before. After a few minutes, they reluctantly broke the hug. He cupped her face and looked straight into her eyes.
