Neil was following those two men, very cautiously so as to avoid being seen or caught.
Flashback
Neil: But sir, please try to understand. I am already working upon a case right now. It's anyway not possible for me to handle both things simultaneously. Moreover, it involves terrorists, there is a threat to national security as well. Yeh kaam technically RAW ka hai...
...: Neil, I know it is difficult for you lekin dekho, jis case par tum kaam kar rahe ho, it doesn't need specific attention involving your special skills, plus you told me that it can end anytime soon. Lekin jis case ki baat mai kar raha hoon, filhaal woh bahot important hai. Now listen, mai tumhari private mail par kuch photos bhej raha hoon, unme se koi dikhe toh kaam shuru kar dena.
Neil: And how am I supposed to do that all alone?
...: Tumhe bas coordinates hi toh laane hain... RAW se ek agent gaya tha pehle but he couldn't enter inside because he was gravely injured. Ho sakta hai usne koi sign drop kiya ho...
Neil: Fine, I'll do it.
...: Do you know why you are the best man I have, Neil? (He was silent) You'll know if you'll trust your skills, just like I do, since the day I saw you in your training days.
Neil: Jai hind, sir!!
...: Jai hind. (smiled proudly)
Flashback ends
He saw those two entering an old building. He tilted his head a little and noticed two guards standing on either side of the door inside.
Neil: Yahan se jaana toh possible hi nahi hai.
On the walls of the building too, there was a layer of barbed wire so as to prevent any trespassers. Neil was standing there in confusion but just then, he noticed a sign on one of the walls.
"RAW se ek agent aaya tha pehle but he couldn't enter inside because he was gravely injured. Ho sakta hai usne koi sign drop kiya ho."
Neil: There you go...
He sneakily came near to that sign and saw a few more on the wall. He followed them which led him to the back side of the building and there it was, a broken wall leading to an opening. He entered inside, very cautiously and also looked around to make sure that nobody sees him. There was nothing on the ground floor. It was almost a ruined building, so he went upstairs. As he went past a room, he heard a sound as if someone called him, someone he knows. He peeped through the window, and it came nothing less than a shock to him as he saw one of his batchmates in training days, who was assumed to be dead last year, tied with ropes, all beaten up. Neil checked the surroundings carefully before entering the room. He loosened the cloth that was tied around his mouth and the rope tied around his legs.
Neil: Are you okay?
Ranjeet: Mai theek hoon, aur tum nahi aate tab bhi kar leta kuch apne liye. I am not depending on your help, Neil Oberoi.
Neil (smiled): Oh, is it? Then do it yourself.
Ranjeet: Haan haan kar lunga mai. Aur iss baar tumhe jeetne nahi dunga.
Neil: You haven't changed a bit. Abhi bhi wahi competition, the same old rivalry... but let me remind you, we are here for the nation, not for our personal gains. Koi bhi galat step lene se pehle theek se sochna.
