---5 days later evening ---

When I began to leave the docs, I noticed a few people around me. Can people just forget about all of this...but as I looked into the distance, I could see Ayato walking towards me.

"Y/n." Ayato said as he approached me, "I was waiting here for your arrival."

"Ayato" I whispered as I pulled on his sleeve, "I thought we agreed on not being out in public together!"

"The public already knows about our relationship. So there's no need to be so discrete." He replied.

I suppose he's right...there's really no point in hiding it anymore, even Sara found out about it...

"Anyway, I was hoping you would like to join me at the Mikiwa Flower Festival."

"Mikiwa Flower Festival? I thought you were hosting the Test Of Courage event." I said in confusion.

"I'll tell you about it on the way there." Ayato replied before lending me his hand, "shall we?"

I hesitantly took his hand and the two of us began to make our way out of Ritou. I could instantly feel the stares of people around us as we left, so I held Ayato's hand a little tighter to try and calm myself down.

"Ayato...how's the public taking all of this?" I asked in a quieter tone.

"They're taking it quite well, In fact they seem to not be making a big deal about it." he said as he turned to me, "did you assume the opposite would happen?"

"Yeah. I figured our images would become tainted..." I admitted and Ayato simply let out a quick laugh.

"Inazuma is not the nation it once used to be. I can assure you I have this all under control."

Ayato and I arrived at the beach near the Kamisato estate. I could see many familiar faces at the festival including Thoma and Ayaka. Ayato explained to me why he did the test of courage event. It turns out he just wanted to attract people to this smaller festival that some Yokai made. So Ayato along with some others helped to set up everything in the festival. It was a rather heartwarming thing for him to do.

I quietly began to admire the effort that was put into everything at the festival. I never thought Ayato would take the time to help out...

"Do you like it?" Ayato said as he turned to me.

"It's wonderful Ayato. I quite like small festivals such as these." I replied
