Piper hasn't seen us since that night. I remember Mar helping her into a room. She seemed exhausted. The amount of power she used... I'm assuming that she had to sleep for a couple of days. But it's been three weeks, almost a month. My brothers have told me that since she is in Cryus territory, they are probably all over her and she doesn't want anything to do with us. I don't believe them. Whenever the Cyrus pack was mentioned it looked like she was going to throw up with disgust or throw a chair.

But we didn't heard anything. Eventually Jamie and I snuck onto Cyrus territory and found our way back to Mar's place. When we stopped outside a window, Mar, Jun and Piper were in the living room talking and laughing. Jamie cursed to himself, but I couldn't stop myself. When I pounded on the door, Mar's face was lit up with what looked like fear. I took a step back but my breath still felt heavy. When I asked her to talk to Piper, Mar just looked down on the floor and said she didn't want to see us. I felt my temper rise but Jamie grabbed my shoulder. Mar said that she learned of the incident between our packs and wanted nothing to do with us. I took another step back, my heart cracking with each movement. I heard Jamie and Mar yell something back and forth but then Jun walked into the doorway and yelled at us to leave, slamming the door in our faces.

I became a mess. I didn't want to leave my room or my house at all. I barely went to school. I was exhausted, taking two naps almost everyday. My brothers knew it was Piper, but my father had no idea and the pack began questioning.

After a couple of days, my strength returned. I was able to go on my runs and do my workouts. That is actually all I did. It helped me get out of my head and away from my brothers. All they asked about was if I heard anything from Piper. One day I remember snapping at them, telling them to leave me alone. They did for a week or so. But then slowly one by one they helped me with my workouts and sparring. They gave me company.

Jamie became more temperamental that usual. He kept muttering about how people are inconsiderate which usually followed with Piper's name. I realize that I wasn't the only affected by Piper's lack of presence. Even Beau managed to frown more than he already does. Theo keeps faces around people and the house, but I can see the slight pain in his auburn eyes. Danny keeps asking when Piper is coming back. Dad has my brothers working on the border every night and looking for Cyrus. They have also come up with nothing. It's been full of disappointment lately.
